In mathematics teaching,"plane geometry" is an important content of junior middle school mathematics,has a positive effect on the improvement of students' cultural quality,through learning "plane geometry" knowledge can cultivate junior middle school students' logical thinking ability and reasoning ability.The knowledge of circle is one of the contents of plane geometry course,and the "circle" content of junior middle school mathematics is one of the important contents of junior middle school geometry teaching.As a common element in life,circle is also an important research object in teaching.This paper is based on the investigation of the teaching status quo of the circle in the local junior middle school in rural areas and the learning situation of students,how to improve the teaching strategy to enable students to learn the circle in the junior middle school mathematics learning can more comprehensively understand the knowledge related to the circle as the starting point of research.The specific research content mainly includes the following aspects:Firstly,the research background and significance of this paper are clarified,and the existing relevant theoretical literature is summarized,and summary,summed up about the purpose and content of this paper.Secondly,the theoretical basis,middle school mathematics textbook circle knowledge in compulsory education curriculum standard requirements and evolution,textbooks the general analysis and characteristic analysis of the content of the circle and the column analysis of the teaching material are discussed.In combination with own teaching environment,to the local individual junior middle school mathematics teachers classroom observation and interview check and make a questionnaire to the students.It is found that the following problems exist in teaching: teachers ignore students' main task body position,not adhering to the principle of combining modern information technology and education teaching method is single,not note the infiltration of heavy mathematics thought method,homework and so on did not face all students.In response to these questions some practical teaching principles and strategies: suitable for junior middle school mathematics circle teaching the teaching principles that can be adopted in the course of teaching include adhering to the principle of combining dominant and subjective,and adhering to having enlightening teaching principles,adhere to the principle of combining rigor and quantity,adhere to the theory department practical principle,adhere to the consolidation teaching principle,adhere to the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.
