As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,the publicity and ideological work in Colleges and universities is facing a new situation while achieving a series of achievements.On the one hand,the construction of a powerful modern socialist country needs new people of the times with firm ideals and beliefs,both ability and political integrity,and morality first;On the other hand,the development of information technology and the mutual agitation of various ideological trends in the ideological field make the publicity and ideological work in Colleges and universities face more complex and arduous tasks.The "four histories" originated from the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,from the great practice of the party and the state leading the people in revolution,construction and reform since the founding of the party,and from the practice guided by the continuous development of Marxism.It has rich content,far-reaching value and long vitality,and has important educational value.Integrating the "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work in Colleges and universities is an inevitable measure to comply with the requirements of the development of the times,which is conducive to continuously promoting the publicity and ideological work and educating people for the party and the country.In order to clarify the current situation of the integration of the "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities,through empirical research on some colleges and universities in Sichuan,we can understand the students' basic cognition of the "four histories" and the publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities,the development of the "four histories" education and publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities,and the students' subjective attitude towards the integration of the "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities.On the basis of questionnaire survey,combined with semistructured interviews with some college teachers and students,this paper explores the problems and reasons behind the integration of "four histories" into college publicity and ideological work.From the survey results,at present,the integration of the "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities still has room to improve in terms of team coordination,object guidance,platform construction,resource utilization and content attraction.At present,the integration of the "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work in Colleges and universities needs to be optimized in order to achieve further results.Based on theoretical analysis,practical investigation,problem exploration and reason summary,in order to effectively realize the publicity and education value of the "four histories",we need to establish and improve the innovation,guarantee and evaluation mechanism of the integration of the "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities;Strengthen the collaborative construction of the integration of "four histories" into the publicity and ideological work of colleges and universities,including subject collaboration,resource collaboration,channel collaboration and so on;We should comprehensively improve the leading mode,seek the coincidence point between politics and academic rationality,explore the balance between subjectivity and objectivity,and promote development in construction and criticism;We should constantly improve the platform construction,build a refined theory publicity platform,a scientific practice leading platform,and optimize the local network publicity platform;We should continue to optimize the social environment,campus environment and family environment into which the "four histories" are integrated.
