With the further implementation of the new curriculum reform,Chinese teaching should be "student-oriented" and pay attention to students’ vision.At the same time,the new curriculum standard also emphasizes that reading teaching is a dialogue among students,teachers,textbook editors and texts.As an important style in Chinese textbooks,novels are self-evident for reading teaching.However,there are still some problems in the current novel teaching,which requires new theories to guide it.Through literature research,this paper sorts out and explores the theoretical origin of horizon fusion,novel teaching contents and novel teaching strategies,thus establishing a theoretical foundation for the research.Then,through case analysis,interview and questionnaire survey,the present situation and problems of junior high school novel teaching are analyzed,and the importance and urgency of horizon fusion theory to novel teaching guidance are made clear,so as to discuss junior high school novel teaching strategies based on horizon fusion theory.Finally,taking Wolf,the ninth grade textbook of the unified edition,as an example,it makes a practical research on novel teaching strategies under the fusion of horizons.The research shows that deepening the dialogue with the text can promote the integration of students and the text horizon;Enrich cooperative learning and promote the integration of horizons between students;Enhance effective dialogue and promote the integration of horizons between teachers and students;The novel teaching strategy of understanding the editor’s intention and promoting the integration of teachers and students and textbook editors’ horizons can promote the development of novel teaching.The research provides a new theoretical exploration for novel teaching,promotes the improvement of the current situation of novel teaching in junior middle schools,and provides feasible novel teaching strategies for front-line teachers.
