The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the spiritual lifeblood of the Chinese nation.Classical Chinese novels,as a component of Chinese textbooks in senior high schools,are important carriers for students to learn Chinese traditional culture and inherit Chinese civilization.However,due to the influence of language form,historical knowledge,modern reading habits and interests,the teaching quality of classical Chinese novels is difficult to guarantee.This paper studies the teaching of classical Chinese novel reading,and tries to improve students’ Chinese core literacy and their ability to comprehend,identify and inherit excellent traditional Chinese culture.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part,from the perspective of the "ordinary high school language curriculum standard",on the basis of learning task requirements,focus on classical Chinese novels in the student improve language core accomplishment and expressing the meaning of the Chinese traditional culture,formulate and classical Chinese fiction Liao Zhai Zhi Yi goal of reading and reading tasks,combing the uniqueness of the classical Chinese novel reading goals and reading tasks.The second part analyzes the problems existing in classical Chinese novel reading by investigating the current situation of classical Chinese novel reading.The third part,taking Strange Tales from A Studio as an example,discusses its important role in the development of students’ personal emotions,and determines the reading theme and reading method of Strange Tales from a Studio based on the reading objectives and reading tasks of Strange Tales from a Studio established above.The fourth part is based on the personalized reading strategies derived from Strange Tales from make-Do Studio,and summarizes the reading strategies applicable to the universal classical Chinese novels based on the reading objectives and reading tasks mentioned above.The fifth part is based on the reading strategies of Classical Chinese novels,combined with the selection of Chinese novels in the Chinese textbooks of senior high schools,analyzes the teaching practice of classical Chinese novels by front-line teachers,so as to put forward some suggestions on the implementation of reading teaching classical Chinese novels.
