Nature of Science is contained in the target system of high school chemistry curriculum and embodies the teaching concept of "concept oriented".The chemistry curriculum standard of ordinary high school(2017 Edition)clearly puts forward that teachers need to use various means in teaching to improve students' understanding of the nature of science.HPS teaching is a recognized teaching mode in the field of education to implement nature of science.Using HPS teaching to implement students' nature of science is a common teaching mode in senior high school chemistry teaching.So what is the current situation of high school chemistry HPS teaching? How to effectively implement the cultivation of nature of science based on HPS?Firstly,it summarizes the current research status of HPS teaching and nature of science at home and abroad,expounds the purpose of HPS teaching and the division standard of nature of science,as well as the effectiveness of HPS teaching in Implementing Students' nature of science,and theoretically analyzes the feasibility of HPS Teaching in Implementing Students' nature of science.Secondly,according to the content of HPS and nature of science,the scale is designed to observe the classroom teaching.30 ministerial level high-quality courses on the platform of "one teacher,one excellent course,one teacher" in 2019 were selected for classroom observation.It was found that there are three aspects of HPS in front-line teaching,and the implementation of nature of science is not comprehensive or not implemented.Finally,according to the classroom observation results,the teaching design and practice of "primary battery" in the first volume of chemical reaction and electric energy,a compulsory course for senior high school chemistry,are selected.The teaching design takes the history of science as the main line,integrates the philosophy of science and the sociology of science,implements the students' view of the nature of science through the dominance of open problems,and carries out teaching activities.After teaching practice,through the analysis of teaching fragments to diagnose the teaching effect,the results show that HPS teaching is an effective carrier to implement students' nature of science,and the explicit implementation of students' nature of science will help students improve their understanding of scientific essence.
