With the revision and introduction of the 2011 edition of the "Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standards",different versions of biology textbooks have come into being,such as the human-taught version,the Beijing Normal University edition,and the Sujiao version of junior high school biology.Although the textbook versions are different,they all set up many special columns,which have the effect of mobilizing students' enthusiasm for learning.As one of the featured columns,the "Data Analysis" column is mainly displayed in the form of a combination of pictures and texts,which has the characteristics of diversity,inquiry and interest,which can not only broaden the learning horizons and adapt to the learning needs of students,but also enrich the classroom teaching materials and fully embody the teaching concept of the new curriculum.This study combines the relevant theoretical foundations,introduces the current research status of the "Data Analysis" column at home and abroad,and systematically analyzes the column in the seventh grade biology textbook of the Human-Taught Edition.Investigate the implementation status of this column in some full-time public township middle schools in Panzhou City,select or combine different biology teaching strategies,and conduct teaching practice research on the application of the "Data Analysis" column of the seventh-grade biology textbook of the human-taught version.It aims to improve the teaching effect of the "data analysis" column of township middle schools in some areas and promote the cultivation of students' independent learning and comprehensive ability.The results found:(1)The content of the "Data Analysis" column is reasonably arranged,rich in pictures and texts,vivid and vivid,easy to mobilize students' interest in exploration,and in line with students' cognitive development level.The effective application of this column for biology classroom teaching is conducive to the achievement of teaching three-dimensional goals,promotes the role transformation of teachers and students,and improves the teaching effect of biology classrooms.(2)A survey of 31 biology teachers and 320 students in the seventh grade of full-time public township middle schools in Panzhou City found that most of the township junior high school biology teachers attach great importance to the "data points" column in the textbook,study and study the teaching of the column,and the use of the column is also more extensive,and most teachers will supplement the column material through network resources.However,in the actual teaching process,there are still many objective and subjective reasons,which make it more difficult to implement the biological "data analysis" column of junior high schools in township areas.Most junior high school and township school students are very fond of the "data analysis" column,especially the types of materials that are closely related to life or have strong intuitiveness.The vast majority of students believe that this column is very helpful for learning biological knowledge,and students show optimism about the way the teacher's "data analysis" column is handled.(3)Through the content analysis of "data analysis",select or combine different teaching methods and strategies,including PBL teaching strategies,cooperative learning teaching strategies,inquiry-based teaching strategies,STS teaching strategies,etc.,and display corresponding teaching cases.In order to promote students' access to information,analysis of problems,hands-on operation,independent exploration,help to improve the spirit of group cooperation,overcome teaching difficulties,improve the test scores of knowledge points involved in "data analysis",etc.,to a certain extent,improve the application value of the "data analysis" column.The following suggestions are made for the problems found in the course of practice:(1)Proceeding from the actual situation of township middle school students,according to local conditions,select the teaching strategies of students in township areas for teaching,and actively explore the teaching role and application effect of special columns such as "data analysis".(2)In the process of teaching biology classrooms,actively carry out the exploration activities of the "data analysis" column in the textbook,and pay attention to the cultivation of students' hands-on inquiry ability in township areas.Some students in township areas do not have strong independent learning ability,teachers should fully mobilize students' interest in learning,pay attention to guiding students to think,and promote students' active learning.(3)Teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' emotional attitudes and values in township areas,improve the importance of township students to biology,strengthen students' attention to the application of science and technology in life and production,and develop good living and learning habits.
