Modern and contemporary prose teaching belongs to the task group of "literature reading and writing",which is an important part of Chinese reading teaching in senior high school and plays a decisive role in improving students’ Chinese core accomplishment.Due to the strong subjectivity and rich meaning of modern and contemporary prose,teachers can optimize prose teaching and improve students’ reading ability through in-depth reading.Deep reading should give students more time and space,let students from the surface of the text into the inner layer of the text,so as to obtain deep emotional experience,improve their own Chinese literacy.Based on deep learning theory,summoning structure theory and constructivism theory,deep reading has three characteristics: inquiry,migration and constructivism.Deep reading conforms to the requirements of core literacy of Chinese subject,and its teaching objectives are highly compatible with the learning objectives of "literary reading and writing" task group.Moreover,senior high school students have the potential of deep reading.Therefore,deep reading is feasible in the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in senior high school.In order to carry out the deep reading of modern and contemporary prose in senior high school,the following teaching strategies can be followed from the perspective of learning situation and text: First,teachers should prepare well before class,determine the content of deep reading according to the characteristics of prose and learning situation,and do a good job of pre-class guidance,so as to carry out the deep reading teaching better;Secondly,students should be guided to understand the profound meaning of prose in the process of discovering blank space,to understand the "personality temperament" of prose in the process of in-depth dialogue,and to construct the meaning of in-depth reading of prose in the process of integrating knowledge.Finally,through the combination of reading and writing and contrast reading,expand the depth of reading field of prose.Based on the teaching strategy of deep reading of modern and contemporary prose in senior high school,the teaching design of "I and the Altar of Earth(Excerpt)",the unified edition of compulsory Chinese in senior high school,is carried out,and the teaching design is reflected on the basis of its application in practical teaching,so as to further clarify the effect of its implementation and summarize in the reflection.
