Teaching materials are the main tools for teachers and students to carry out teaching and learning activities.A comparative study of different versions of teaching materials in the context of core mathematics literacy can identify the similarities and differences between different versions of teaching materials,which help teachers to better understand and use the materials,and better cultivate a "well-rounded person".In this study,the content of "Sequence" in the "Experimental Textbook of the General High School Curriculum Standard-Mathematics(Version A)" published by the People's Education Publishing House in 2019 and the "Experimental Textbook of the General High School Curriculum Standard-Mathematics(Version A)" published in 2004 were selected as the objects of the study.Based on the theories of constructivism and multiple intelligences,the methods of text analysis and comparative analysis were used to compare the structure of the old and new textbooks and the integration of the core literacy and the textbook in the textbook and the system of sample exercises.The study attempts to discover the strengths and weaknesses of the old and new teaching materials in the A version of People's Education,to help teachers and students make better use of the materials.Compared to the old textbook,the new textbook has the following features.(1)focus on creating authentic contexts;(2)greater emphasis on the formation of students' mathematical thinking and methods;(3)higher requirements for core literacy in mathematics.Based on the differences between the old and new teaching materials,teachers are advised to pay attention to the following aspects when using the new teaching materials:(1)Deeply analyze the content of teaching materials and effectively cultivate students' "four basics and four abilities";(2)Carefully study the new curriculum standards and implement the cultivation of students' core literacy;(3)Elaborately creating real situations to cultivate students' learning character;(4)Understand multiple versions of teaching materials and improve teachers' professional development.
