With the continuous promotion of new curriculum reform,art education has received more and more attention especially after the introduction of the policy of "aesthetic education into the entrance examination".The Ministry of Education's Art Curriculum Standards(2011Edition)proposes that art education should focus on flexible application of media to enhance students' perception and imagination of images and stimulate students' interest in art.The multi-sensory teaching method is based on the cultivation of students' perception and learning motivation in order to improve students' learning efficiency.On the basis of reviewing a large number of relevant literatures at home and abroad,the author defines the concept of multi-sensory teaching method with literature research method and case analysis method,and makes clear that the theoretical basis of this study is multiple intelligence theory,information processing theory,Montessori's sensory education theory,cognitive development theory and sensory experience cognitive principle.At the same time,it also puts forward that the multi-sensory teaching method should abide by the principle of intuitiveness,multi-sensory teaching,self-education and the combination of sensibility and rationality.This paper uses questionnaire survey and interview method to understand the application of multi-sensory teaching method in practical teaching,and studies the learning attitude and suggestions of students applying multi-sensory teaching method in art classroom.Based on the teaching experiment of multi-sensory teaching method,the practicability and feasibility are tested on applying multi-sensory teaching method to art classroom in junior middle school.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly,the application of multi-sensory teaching method in junior high school art classroom is conducive to stimulate students' interest in art learning and intrinsic motivation,and transform the role of students from passive to active.Secondly,fully mobilize students' eyes,ears,nose,mouth and other sensory organs to participate in the art classroom teaching,is conducive to enhance students' perceptual ability and imagination.Thirdly,through specific teaching design and practice,it can be found that the application of multi-sensory teaching method in art class has strong feasibility and practicality,which is conducive to improving the efficiency of art learning.Through this study,the author puts forward the following suggestions,for teachers,it is necessary to strengthen the teaching design of sensory education and pay attention to how to mobilize students' sensory ability.For students,they should pay attention to transform their roles and become active explorers of knowledge.For schools,it is necessary to pay attention to the improvement of the quality of teachers and enhance the configuration of sensory teaching AIDS.
