Intervention And Study On How Life Review Improve Ego Integrity Of The Oldest-old In Organization ——Take Cadre' Ward Of S Hospital For Example

China has come into the deeply aging society,with the oldest-old in institutions.Compared to the middle-old and the younger-old,the oldest-old have a higher degree aging body,less ability to care themselves,more specific physical and psychological needs.Under the background of COVID-19,the strict prevention rules deepen social isolation of the oldest-old in institutions,leading to loneliness and depression.By participatory observation and qualitative interviews,this paper discovery that not all the elderly in social isolation face mental health problems like loneliness.These oldest-old in institutions have protective factors—the trend of ego integrity—to help them handle a sudden isolation.The elderly who have a higher degree have higher level of happiness,more adaptation to isolation and more willing to share their life experience.Ego integrity is related to Eight Stages of Human Development Theory which is propose by E.H.Erikson.What is more,it's related to education.According to some research,People who have higher education are related to higher-level ego integrity.Social worker can use life review case work to promote ego integrity of the oldest-old in institutions.By integrating life crossroads?life story ?roles in life?important people in life?life regrets,ego integrity can be improved in the oldest-old in institutions.Life crossroads can help the oldest-old integrate their life from the aspect of time.Go back to the past and reconstruct regrets help the oldest-old integrate their life from aspect of structure.Speak to important people in life help the oldest-old integrate their life in late age from aspect of relationship.According to questionnaire before and after the test,client's ego integrity has improved.
