The Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Deepening Education and Teaching Reform and Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Compulsory Education advocate new optimized teaching methods such as project-based learning.In the2022 Compulsory Education Primary Science Curriculum Standards(hereinafter referred to as the Standards),the curriculum content mentions many project research cases.Project-based learning has been widely concerned and advocated,and it is one of the effective ways to cultivate students’ scientific literacy.This study explores the teaching model of science project-based learning in primary schools by combining theory with practice.Review a large number of literature,sort out the research status and research methods of project-based learning at home and abroad to determine the research ideas of this paper: first,reviewed the literature to summarize the characteristics of project-based learning and the difficulties in developing project-based learning.Secondly,based on the research of scholars at home and abroad,the teaching mode and teaching strategy of project-based learning were designed.Thirdly,interview method was used to interview front-line teachers before implementation to understand the development of project-based learning in teaching,as well as the mode and strategies of project-based learning,and questionnaire survey was conducted in the experimental class.Fourth,the design and implementation of the case,according to the students choose the Ice Cream Competition this project schedule,and increased the production of heat preservation box according to the need of project,the two projects closely connected with actual life,promoting the students understand cloud,fog,dew,frost,rain and other weather phenomena and understand the knowledge of heat transferring and working knowledge of design products.In the process of design and production,cultivate students’ teamwork ability,innovation ability,hands-on ability,etc.In the stages of preaching and communication,students’ language expression ability and critical thinking were cultivated.Finally,questionnaire survey and student interview were conducted to test the effect of project-based learning.The results show that: students like this hands-on learning way,group cooperation gradually improved,students in the class of different points of view collision,put forward scientific questions in class,well-grounded discussion and communication,the discussion process involves engineering thinking,scientific inquiry and other aspects......So as to improve students’ scientific literacy.In the end,this paper analyzes and summarizes this study and reflects on the shortcomings of this practical study to provide reference for subsequent researchers.
