Facing the new curriculum standards, new College Entrance Examination, and new textbooks, educators have raised new concerns over issues such as whether the contents of the high school mathematics textbooks are up to par, whether the difficulty of the exercises exceeds the standards, whether the implementation of the curriculum standards and theories of textbooks are effective, and whether the exercises in the textbooks are in line with the requirements of the curriculum standards,Therefore,it is of great necessity to analyze the consistency of examples and exercises in the new textbooks between curriculum standards. This study adopted the SEC consistency analysis model to analyze the consistency between examples and exercises in high school mathematics textbooks and the 2017 curriculum standards, and used scientific computing tools and detailed and accurate data to test the consistency of the cognitive level between the examples, exercises, and revision exercises in the currently-used high school mathematics textbooks and the 2017 curriculum standards. The study hence analyzed factors influencing the observed value of the consistency through data analysis and put forward suggestions for the discovered problems.Data analysis found that examples and exercises in the compulsory high school mathematics textbooks(RJA Edition)are few in number but precise, which are highly consistent with the curriculum standards; While the exercises focus on the basics, the extensibilies are also emphasized, making it suitable for training students.;the revision exercises have a good level of consistencies when separated from Cognitive Level A.However, the questions on log functions and vector operation are designed differently from the requirements of the curriculum standards. This study thereby suggests that apart from including classic questions selected from the College Entrance Examination and the Academic Proficiency Test over the years, textbook writers should also set review reference questions at the end of each textbook volume and each chapter to make the examples and exercise more comprehensive.
