With entering the new era,China's primary school physical education teaching cause is thriving,the development of primary school physical education has made great progress,but there are still great differences between urban and rural areas,in this development situation,the development of rural primary schools should be more according to local conditions to promote the teaching reform,improve the construction of physical education.Taking the current situation of physical education and health teaching in rural primary schools in Jimo District as an example,20 primary schools in Jimo District are selected as samples to investigate the current status of physical education and health teaching and analyze it.This paper mainly uses the literature data,interview,field investigation,questionnaire survey,etc.,to analyze the current situation of physical education and health teaching in Jimo District from multiple angles,and draws the following conclusions:1.Some rural primary schools in Jimo District have insufficient classes and occupy physical education before the examination;the teaching content is mostly traditional projects,lack of classroom novelty,the teaching materials;physical education teachers do not set teaching objectives,there are free-range teaching,students have not ideal grasp of physical education and health knowledge and skills,and the teaching organization is relatively simple.2.Physical education teachers have a single evaluation form for students,do not achieve a comprehensive evaluation of students,do not view students from different perspectives,but only a one-sided evaluation of students' physical education learning effect.3.Rural primary school facilities in Jimo District are lack of sports facilities and lack of gymnasiums.Most schools have local track and field fields and insufficient number of sports equipment and facilities,which affects the physical education classroom teaching and students' enthusiasm to participate in physical education and health teaching.4.The current structure of physical education teachers in rural primary schools in Jimo District is reasonable,meeting relevant national regulations,but lack of high-level talents;Physical education teachers are older,have rich teaching experience,and their participation in physical education related training needs to be improved.5.Students 'cognition of sports and health is very simple,but simply understand physical health and ignore mental health.Students' sports habits are not very good and rarely participate in other activities except physical education.Based on this study,the following recommendations may be made:1.The school should establish a reasonable assessment system to ensure adequate physical education and health teaching,change teachers' traditional concept of " only scores,and let students develop in an all-round way.2.Select and develop teaching materials suitable for rural primary schools in Jimo District,optimize the teaching content,make the teaching content more in line with the taste of primary school students,promote the progress of school-based curriculum research and development,increase sports characteristics,and attract students to actively participate in the exercise.3.Further optimize the teacher structure,rationally allocate teachers,strengthen the introduction of professional talents,improve teachers' academic qualifications,increase online and offline teacher training,and improve the quality and level of teachers.4.Relevant government departments should pay more attention to the current situation of primary school sports,increase financial allocation,schools should use the existing venues and equipment,improve the utilization and improve the equipment.5.Improve the subjective understanding of primary school students,arouse their attention to physical education and health courses,actively guide students to participate in the teaching activities of physical education and health courses,and lay a good foundation for lifelong physical education in the future.
