With the development of quality education,the mental health education of primary school students has been paid more and more attention,and the school mental health education has been paid more and more attention.However,due to the limitation of regional environment,economy,school-running concept and teachers,the mental health education in rural primary schools is not satisfactory and superficial.In rural areas,most parents go out to work,resulting in parents can not pay attention to children's mental health problems in a timely manner.Therefore,it is very important to strengthen mental health education in rural primary schools.On the basis of previous studies,this paper studies the status quo of mental health education in rural primary schools in Xingcheng city by using the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview,and taking four rural primary schools in Xingcheng city as samples.First of all,through the investigation and analysis,it is concluded that there are still some problems in mental health education of rural primary school teachers in Xingcheng city,such as the deviation of their understanding of mental health education,the relatively single way of mental health education,the lack of ideal courses of mental health education,and the weak teachers of mental health education.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons from the following aspects: the rural primary school teachers have not formed the correct mental health education concept,the complete mental health education mechanism,the influence of examination-oriented education,and the poor working environment of mental health education teachers.At last,the author puts forward some countermeasures,such as setting up correct mental health education idea,developing mental health education in many ways,strengthening the course construction of mental health education,and strengthening the construction of teachers team of mental health education.Mental health education can promote the development of pupils' physical and mental health.it is expected that this study can guide the development of mental health education in rural primary schools.
