At the end of 2019,the Novel Coronavirus was discovered in Wuhan,Hubei Province,China,and then spread rapidly across the country in early 2020,gradually evolving into a global pandemic.After the outbreak of the COVID-19,the strong pathogenicity,high recurrence rate and variability of the Novel Coronavirus caused panic and anxiety among college students.At the same time,due to the national prevention and control measures are taken,the College Students' travel is affected.College students who are isolated at home have a strong demand for health information due to the closed space,and have a lot of leisure time to pay attention to these information.However,in this special period,there are frequent rumors on the Internet.Some people fabricate and exaggerate the facts of infection related to themself.And some people exaggerate the development of the epidemic and the situation of epidemic prevention and control.And some people fabricate the cause of the virus outbreak and a person's confirmed infection or suspected infection.Even some people exaggerate the fact of the shortage of protection and living materials,and making malicious,vicious or extreme remarks.These false statements have posed a serious challenge to college students' internet health information seeking under the COVID-19.In this paper,college students in China are taken as the research object to explore the factors influencing their internet health information seeking behavior,aiming to have a deeper understanding of college students' internet health information seeking behavior and to provide reasonable suggestions for improving college students' internet health information seeking ability under the COVID-19.Firstly,the research expounds the research background,research significance,research ideas,research methods and research innovations of college students' internet health information seeking behavior under the COVID-19.Secondly,based on the analysis of the related theories at home and abroad,such as the theory of planned behavior,the planned risk information seeking model,the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2,and Wilson general information behavior model,the paper put forward nine hypotheses affected college students' internet health information seeking behavior under the COVID-19,involving information source characteristics,health information literacy,perceived risk,health anxiety,behavioral intention,performance expectancy,social influence,facilitating conditions and habit.And the influencing factor model is designed according to these hypotheses.Then,the statistical analysis tool SPSS26.0 was used to analyze the relevant research data collected from the questionnaire,and AMOS24.0 was used to verify the structural equation model.This paper analyzes the impact of nine factors,involving information source characteristics,health information literacy,perceived risk,health anxiety,behavioral intention,performance expectancy,social influence,facilitating conditions and habit,on college students' internet health information seeking behavior under the COVID-19.The results show that information source characteristics,health information literacy,perceived risk,health anxiety,behavioral intention,performance expectancy,social influence,facilitating conditions have a significant and positive impact on college students' internet health information seeking behavior under the COVID-19.Habits do not have a positive impact on college students' internet health information seeking behavior under the COVID-19.Finally,suggestions are given from the government,school and individual level to improve college student's internet health information seeking ability under the COVID-19.
