Secondary vocational schools are the cradle of cultivating national skilled talents.Under the call of the national document on vigorously developing vocational education, more and more secondary vocational schools have opened higher education classes,so as to realize the systematic training of technical and skilled talents and meet the secondary vocational students' desire to receive junior college and undergraduate high-level education. In the secondary vocational promotion class, mathematics is not only a basic compulsory subject, but also a necessary subject for students who will take the college entrance examination for their corresponding majors. For students who participate in the secondary vocational promotion class,it is very important to learn mathematics well. However,it is obvious that looking at the teaching situations of previous secondary vocational promotion classes,we can find that the gap between students in mathematics performance is relatively large, and there are more students with poor mathematics performance. In the secondary vocational promotion classes, the problem of students with mathematics learning difficulties is becoming more and more prominent, which has also become an urgent problem to be solved in the opening of secondary vocational promotion classes. In this regard, the author believes that learning occurs through students' active behavior, and students' learning results mainly depend on what they do.Therefore, the main reason for the gap between excellent students and poor students is that they have different learning methods. If they can help secondary vocational students optimize their learning methods,it will help promote students' common growth and progress. Therefore, the author chose this topic for research, hoping to provide help for more secondary vocational school students who are willing to accept further study in universities.Specifically,in the process of writing and research, the author divided the article into six chapters and four parts:Through questionnaire survey, interview, case study and classroom observation, this study made a comparative analysis of the three consecutive mathematics students in the vocational and technical school. We found the differences mainly from the perspective of grade, major and gender, and analyzed the reasons from three dimensions of learning style. On the whole, most excellent students use independent learning methods, and more difficult students use cooperative learning methods.Based on the above research and analysis, optimization suggestions are given for teachers 'teaching and students' learning: optimization suggestions from the perspective of teachers include: training students 'learning strategies and learning methods;developing various teaching resources to serve students' corresponding entrance examination;guiding learning methods;improving the interest of students with learning difficulties and stimulating their learning motivation.Suggestions to optimize students' learning methods are mainly to enhance their own awareness of problems, optimize learning methods and develop good learning habits.
