Foreign novel reading teaching is an important carrier and way to cultivate the "cultural inheritance and understanding" of high school Chinese core literacy.Foreign novels also occupy an important position in high school Chinese textbooks.For a long time,teachers and students’ lack of correct cognition of foreign novels,outdated educational and teaching ideas,and the proliferation of teaching reference interpretation texts have led to the stagnation of foreign novel reading teaching.Mechanical teaching methods and outdated text interpretation make students lack interest in foreign novel reading and have a certain psychological resistance.In classroom teaching,the stylistic characteristics and unique charm of foreign novels have not been well reflected.Based on the text close reading theory and combined with specific teaching practice,this study explores the optimization strategy of using close reading method in the teaching of foreign novel reading in senior high school,in order to build an efficient implementation path of foreign novel teaching and help teachers and students better read foreign novels.This paper is divided into three parts:The introduction is separated into four parts.The first part presents the cause of the research;The second part is the research value,which is divided into theoretical significance and practical significance;The third part is the research status,one is the summary of text close reading,the other is the summary in the field of reading teaching;The third part is the summary of high school novel teaching practice.The fourth part expounds research ideas and research methods.The first chapter discusses the necessity and feasibility of reading foreign novels in senior high school.The general situation of text close reading method focuses on the basic views of text close reading,the text close reading theory and main characteristics of the new critics;The feasibility study mainly focuses on the existing research.The basic pattern of using close reading method is composed of the provisions of curriculum standards,the orientation of special units and the requirements of core literacy;the necessity part focuses on the current situation of teaching and the reality of students,and demonstrates the positive role of text close reading method in the teaching of foreign novel reading.The second chapter points out the problems of the current foreign novel reading teaching in senior high school,and makes an attribution analysis.The main problems are the limitations of teachers’ and students’ cognition of foreign novels,rigid and inefficient teaching and outdated and superficial interpretation.Narrow teaching content is the main reason for these problems.First,teachers and students’ cognitive concept of foreign novels is outdated and lack of excavation of image metaphor in novels;Second,teachers and students lay too much stress on the knowledge of novel content and lack of attention to novel form;Third,teachers and students rely on teaching reference,resulting in mechanical and rigid interpretation.The third chapter analyzes the optimization strategies of close reading method in the teaching of foreign novel reading in senior high school.In view of the superficial cognition of foreign novels by teachers and students,this paper advances center on the semantics in the context,excavate the images and metaphors in the text,and pay attention to the differences between the translation and the original text;As for the interpretation,we should translate the text based on the perspective of pluralism and limitism,and optimize the symbolic system in connection with the spirit of the nation and the times,literary schools and cultural systems;At the teaching level,it is proposed to excavate the teaching value of novels based on the text form,focus on the narrative perspective,sequence word order and narrative rhythm,and discuss through the analysis of specific teaching cases. |
