The excellent Chinese modern and contemporary novels with humanistic feelings and rational spirits reveal the universal feelings that feed back the masses of people,precipitating a specific and perceptible philosophy of life.Despite the fact that these novels have been a hot spot in the college entrance examination in Jiangsu Province over the years,it has become a deep pool that many students talk about and seems difficult to cross.In senior high school Chinese literature teaching,novels,as a unique literary genre,should be favored by students for its various characters and ups and downs of the plot content,but the existing conservative and conventional novel teaching model can not arouse students' interest in reading,and instead make them afraid and sick of the reading materials,which is a great loss for Chinese teaching.The mission of Chinese Teaching-to promote students' core literacy is still within sight but beyond reach.The international education community pays great attention to the key competence of students,which is mainly embodied in the following four aspects:thinking,language,aesthetics and culture.Close textual reading is an inevitable choice to cultivate students' core literacy.Intensive reading should be an important goal of senior high school Chinese literature teaching.Only by deeply analyzing the text can we understand the text,only by reading the text can we have multiple perceptual experience,and ultimately shape the core literacy of the Chinese language.Teachers should proceed from the students' learning situation,penetrate the relevant theoretical guidance of the close reading of the text,probe into the common cut-off points of the close reading of the text,combine the theory with the concrete teaching practice,help students to comprehend the connotation better,and then look at the real life,so as to promote their improvement of thinking,perfect their personality so that they truly grow up,which enables us to achieve the purpose of education.This research idea also reflects the importance and cultivation of students' core literacy in Chinese,which is definitely a topic worthy of joint discussion and study.This research-oriented paper,A Study on the Teaching Strategies of Modern and Contemporary Novels Reading in Senior High School from the Perspective of Text Intensive Reading,firstly gives an overview of Chinese modern and contemporary novels and investigates their status in Chinese literature teaching in senior high schools,and then sorts out and studies the compilation,teaching and propositions of modern and contemporary novels in Chinese textbooks published by Jiangsu Education Press.On this basis,the author carefully studies the relevant theories,connotations and the significance of "text intensive reading" to the core literacy of Chinese,and puts forward some strategies for optimizing the teaching of modern and contemporary novels in senior high schools from the perspective of"text intensive reading".The research methods of this paper are mainly literature research method,comparative research method,investigation method and experience summary method.From the perspective of close textual reading,the author chooses the common famous classics in Chinese modern and contemporary novels as an example to study from three aspects:literary feelings,narrative theories and stylistic features in terms of close textual reading of modern and contemporary novels,among which literary feelings are illustrated from the following three respects-"first impression","daily life" and "details",and narrative theories are studied from the perspectives of narrator,narrative perspective and narrative focus,while stylistic features are illustrated by three mainstream styles of realism,romanticism and modernism.This research idea also reflects the importance and cultivation of students' core literacy in Chinese,which is definitely a subject worthy of joint discussion and study.It is expected to be helpful for the first-line novel reading teaching in high school.
