China's general senior high school education is the basic education for the public,its purpose is to train students in all aspects of talent,to promote students can better cope with school work and daily life,to become a person with all-round development of morality,intelligence,body,beauty and labor.General Secretary Xi Jinping once said,"No man is without virtue." The Ideological and Political Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,revised in2020)(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum Standard")clearly points out that the ideological and political curriculum of senior high schools is a course with the fundamental task of moral cultivation,with the goal of improving students' subject core accomplishment and helping students form correct values.Debate teaching method is an active teaching method which integrates debate into curriculum teaching.It not only embodies the new curriculum standard proposed: "strengthen discrimination,choose positive value-led learning path" teaching implementation evaluation suggestions,but also implements the basic concepts of "curriculum content activity" and "activity content curriculum".The core accomplishment goal runs through the debate teaching,not only makes the high school ideological and political class more vivid,but also can improve the subject core accomplishment better.However,through the questionnaire survey of students and teachers,it can be seen that there are some problems in the application of debate teaching method in high school ideological and political courses,mainly reflected in: improper topic selection according to the core accomplishment objectives;Teachers' awareness of the implementation of the subject core literacy goal is not strong;It is difficult for teachers to control the classroom rhythm of debating teaching;The development of students' comprehensive quality is uneven;Lack of specific evaluation criteria and formalization of summary evaluation.To solve these problems,teachers should make various strategies to improve the core literacy of the subject.In the aspect of debate selection,we should follow the principles of moral education,goal,differentiation and interest,and choose from multiple ways.Before the debate,teachers should clarify the subject's core accomplishment objectives,formulate a complete teaching design,carry out reasonable group division of labor and clarify the debate rules.In the process of debate,teachers should adhere to the combination of guidance and watch;After the debate,an evaluation mechanism should be established to promote the development of the subject's core literacy,summarize the debate activities,evaluate the results of the debate,and form value guidance based on the core literacy.
