Today,with the integration of information economy,the demand for comprehensive talents is increasing.All countries are trying to introduce advanced educational ideas in order to cultivate more excellent comprehensive talents.Stem education concept is produced in this case.Stem teaching pays attention to the connection between learning and practice,pays attention to interdisciplinary comprehensive ability,especially the process of learning.The teaching of compulsory education in China is mainly divided into disciplines,and the purpose of learning is mainly to deal with the entrance examination,but what we need in the future is capable and innovative talents,so it is urgent to exercise the comprehensive quality of students' discipline integration.Therefore,based on the stem education thought and the characteristics of physics in the stage of compulsory education,this paper discusses the feasibility of combining stem education with physics in the stage of compulsory education,Supplemented by teaching cases as a reference,it provides a new idea for the development of junior middle school physics curriculum in the stage of compulsory education.This study will be based on physics and combined with relevant research at home and abroad to summarize the concept,characteristics and significance of stem education.Under the guidance of constructivist learning theory,Dewey's "learning by doing" theory and multiple intelligences theory,inspired by stem teaching mode,select appropriate educational themes,design a relatively perfect educational process,and then organically integrate it with the content of physics in junior middle school to form teaching cases.This paper takes the lens in life in Chapter 5,Section 2,Volume 1,Grade 8 of people's education edition as an example,Set up control class and experimental class for pre-test and post test.Then analyze the reliability and validity of the test results.After class,the students in the experimental class were interviewed by random sampling to understand their attitude towards physics teaching under the stem concept.Finally,a questionnaire survey on students' attitude towards stem teaching and interest in physics learning is conducted.The results show that it is feasible to integrate stem education into junior middle school physics classroom.Students' learning interest is significantly improved,their ability to solve practical problems is significantly improved,and their awareness of group cooperation and practical ability are also greatly enhanced.The innovation of this paper is to use quantifiable measurement tools,based on stem education,design and implement the case of Education under the new mode,and obtain the feasibility report,so as to provide reference and reference for follow-up teachers in stem teaching.
