Impact Of Social Support On Quality Of Life In Menopausal Women ——An Empirical Analysis Based On CHARLS Data

Menopause is an important time in a woman's life.Menstruation changes,aging,agitation,irritability,sweating,insomnia,palpitations,moodiness,depression,anxiety,loss of meaning,panting,etc.,all occur alternately,in turns.Physical and psychological pain goes unspoken and is a major challenge for menopausal women.In real life,there is less attention paid to menopausal women as a group.Most women who go through this process are panicked,overwhelmed,struggling to get by with a one-off mentality.They also suffer from misconceptions and lack of support from those around them.Often,menopause syndrome,depression,anxiety and a host of other physical and mental illnesses lead to poor quality of life.This study chooses social support theory as the starting point,menopausal women as the research object,from the background of Maslow's demand theory and life course theory,combined with existing research and practical experience,selected the 2018 China Health and Pensions Tracking Survey data,through descriptive statistics and disordered logistic regression for empirical analysis.This paper describes the current situation of social support and quality of life of menopausal women,and analyzes the influence of social support on the quality of life of menopausal women from the perspective of objective support,subjective support and utilization of support.The results showed that objective support had a significant impact on the health satisfaction and psychological status of menopausal women,subjective support had a significant impact on the life satisfaction,health satisfaction and psychological status of menopausal women,and the use of support had a significant impact on the life satisfaction of menopausal women.The principal effect model of social support theory was partially validated.
