The integration of AI and education is a major trend, and it is very important and necessary to teach artificial intelligence in primary and secondary schools. As the focus of IT curriculum reform, the cultivation of computational thinking should be implemented in specific subjects.Through concrete programming forms and abstract general programming ideas, graphical programming can help students build a complete cognitive structure and focus on the development of computational thinking on the basis of relieving their cognitive load on Artificial Intelligence.Based on a review of relevant literature, this study defines the concepts of experiential learning, artificial intelligence curriculum, computational thinking, and graphical programming. At the same time, the current research status of AI teaching and experiential learning in elementary schools is reviewed, and the problems of AI teaching in elementary schools are identified. The feasibility of integrating "experiential learning" and "computational thinking" into elementary school AI teaching is analyzed. With computational thinking as the goal orientation and "experiential learning circle" as the implementation path,we designed an AI teaching model based on experiential learning in elementary school. With the help of the "Smart AI" graphical programming tool,we designed and implemented an AI teaching case based on experiential learning. After the implementation of the case, the students' learning effects were measured by the Computational Thinking Scale and the analysis of the results of the interviews with teachers and students. The results of this study show that the teaching model and teaching cases of elementary school AI based on experiential learning can enhance students' sense of experience and participation, help students' computational thinking, and provide guidance and examples for teachers to carry out elementary school AI teaching practices.
