With the development of digital information technology and communication technology,industrial intelligence and integration also begin to develop at a high speed.As the first international bus standard,PROFIBUS has been widely used in the field of industrial control in recent years.It is mainly used to connect devices and control layer and transmit data through token transmission mechanism.This paper mainly focuses on the communication performance of PROFIBUS fieldbus.By establishing the simulation model of bus communication data transmission,this paper studies how to improve the transmission efficiency and guarantee the real-time performance of PROFIBUS fieldbus in the field.Firstly,based on the understanding of the transmission mechanism of PROFIBUS fieldbus protocol,the communication performance simulation study is carried out.Through the study of the single master station system communication mechanism of PROFIBUS bus logic modeling,depth analysis of the data link layer,change the target token cycle time,high and low priority random set each site message number,as well as the load factor,and then observed communication system packet loss rate,efficiency of bus access the change of performance parameters,such as,verify the feasibility of the model.Then,the logic modeling of the multi-master communication system is carried out,and experiments are carried out around the indicators such as the site address value on the token ring and the target token cycle time value.Finally,combined with the scheduling algorithm to optimize the communication performance of PROFIBUS fieldbus,a new scheduling algorithm is proposed based on the queuing delay and the setting of the target token cycle time.The simulation results are compared with the original media access mechanism through the simulation model.The results show that this scheduling algorithm is applied to PROFIBUS communication system,and the communication performance is improved better,and the transmission efficiency is better than the traditional MAC media access protocol,which makes up for the original shortcomings of PROFIBUS system and makes the communication performance better.
