National identity is an important goal of ideological and political education.Cultivating and improving the national identity of higher vocational students is an important task of ideological and political education for college students,and it is also the meaning of contemporary youth moral education.This study uses vocational students from 6 vocational colleges in Nanchang as a survey sample.Through questionnaire research and interviews,we understand the status quo of the national identity of vocational students in Nanchang,analyze the existing problems,and propose corresponding Suggestions.The survey results show that the overall state of the national identity of vocational students in Nanchang is good,and they have a high level in terms of motherland identity,political identity,Chinese national identity and cultural identity,but there are also some problems: recognition of national identity Inconsistent with behavior,relatively insufficient knowledge reserves in terms of political identity,poor cognition of socialist core values,and deviations from traditional cultural emotions and behaviors.There is no obvious difference in the national identity of vocational students in factors such as gender,grade,and family location,but there are obvious differences in factors such as professional direction,school performance,and parental education.Ideological and political theory courses,the number of patriotic activities carried out,the concern of school leaders and teachers,the country's economy,the country's status,and the country's technological development level all affect the identification of higher vocational students with the country.Based on the results of the survey,this research proposes educational countermeasures to enhance the national identity of vocational students,specifically from the content of education received by vocational students,the construction of school campus culture,the cultivation environment of vocational students' national identity,and the self-education of vocational students Four aspects are carried out:firstly,to play the main role of classroom teaching to promote civic education,strengthen national unity education,innovate cultural education,and enrich political theory;secondly,strengthen the campus of higher vocational colleges from the ideological,intellectual and spiritual levels Cultural construction;secondly,from the three levels of the country,family and society to create a nurturing environment for the national identity of higher vocational students;finally,guide higher vocational students to self-educate themselves,strengthen their political beliefs,and enhance their own psychological endurance;Actively participate in school and social activities,and turn feelings about the country into concrete actual behaviors.
