A Practical Study On Social Work Intervening In The Families Of Premature Infants In Difficulties

There are about 2 million premature infants in China every year,ranking the second in the world.The domestic research on premature infants mainly focuses on how to improve the treatment and later development level of premature infants,and there are few related researches on premature infants.However,in recent years,in the biological psychological social medical model,the concept of care for patients has gradually turned to family centered,and premature families have gradually received more attention.The author finds that the premature family is generally faced with more difficult difficulties in parenting than full-term families,and these difficulties have some common features in the premature family,including: parents have higher probability of anxiety and guilt;premature families are facing greater economic and material difficulties;premature families bear a larger family Court risk;premature family lack of relative professional skills in infant care.In view of these problems,some researchers have carried out relevant researches on alleviating the family predicament of premature infants from the perspective of medical workers and medical social workers.Among them,medical workers mainly focus on improving the survival rate of premature infants and the quality of their own future development.The attention of medical social workers to premature families involves parents' psychology,emotion and experience The support system of economy and information has their own emphasis and complement each other.If only relying on medical workers,it is difficult to alleviate the plight of premature infants' families in an all-round way,which is also unfavorable for the long-term sustainable development of premature infants themselves.Based on this,the author tries to explore the methods and effects of social work intervention in the plight of premature families,and to explore the way for the connection between social workers and premature families,in order to expand the field of social work and to promote the development of social work to a certain extent.This paper,based on the platform of s maternity and child health care hospital,intervenes the premature family through the social work of individual cases,and has achieved certain effect.It is found that sudden premature birth is a crisis event for the family.The intervention of social work can help them to rebuild their ability to cope with the crisis.In order to alleviate the plight of premature infants,it is very important to cover the social support network of medical staff,relatives and friends,other premature children families,government and community staff.Based on this,the author thinks that social support theory is the basis of social support The theory of crisis intervention is feasible and necessary to step in the social work of premature families in dilemma.After research and practice,some achievements have been achieved,but some problems have been found and some improvement ideas and strategies are put forward in order to form a benign support system for families with poor premature infants.
