With the development of China’s economy and society,the deepening reform of state-owned enterprises(SOEs),the proliferation of the "dual-employer" family structure,and the impact of the recent epidemic,work family conflicts among SOE employees have become increasingly prominent,which will affect the overall performance and well-being of employees to a certain extent and is not conducive to the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.Based on role theory,boundary theory,and other theories,combined with domestic and international studies on work family conflicts and interviews with some employee representatives,this paper proposes seven hypotheses for this study: The level of work-family conflict among employees of company X is higher than the level of family-work conflict;social support factor inversely affects work-family conflict and family-work conflict among employees of company X;job stress factor positively affects work-family conflict and family-work conflict;role input factor positively affects work-family conflict and family-work conflict among employees of company X.To test the hypotheses,this study conducted a survey on demographic information,the current situation of work family conflicts,and work family conflict-related variables among 280 employees of Company X.248 valid questionnaires were collected,and data analysis showed that all the above hypotheses were valid.According to the results of the empirical analysis,based on the three antecedent variables(social support,work stress,and role commitment)and demographic variables that affect employees’ work family conflicts,this study proposes countermeasures to improve work family conflicts of employees in Company X from the perspective of corporate management: first,strengthen care for specific groups,recruit accurately,and achieve job matching;second,strengthen support at the company level;third,pay attention to employee stress problems and improve employee stress management;fourth,targeted reduce employees’ role input in career development or family life.This study helps to alleviate work family conflicts among employees of Company X,further motivate employees,improve the overall management effectiveness of the company,and promote the company’s sustainable and healthy development,and also provides reference values for other companies of the same type.
