Research On Media Memory Of Chinese Women's Volleyball Team

As one of the important "historical recorders",news media is the basis of memory formation.Since the Chinese women's volleyball team first appeared in the public's view,people's Daily has recorded and witnessed a memory of the Chinese women's volleyball team and the Chinese people.Women's volleyball team spirit as a part of the great party building spirit,the news reports of women's volleyball team not only form people's collective memory of Chinese women's volleyball team,but also construct the media memory of Chinese women's volleyball team.Taking the news report of the Chinese women's volleyball team as the starting point,taking the media memory as the analytical framework and taking the people's daily as an example,this paper attempts to study what kind of women's volleyball team memory is constructed by the people's daily? How is the media memory of Chinese women's volleyball team constructed?This paper selects 1090 reports related to Chinese women's volleyball team in people's daily from 1981 to 2019 as samples,constructs categories through content analysis,and specifically studies and analyzes the construction of media memory of women's volleyball team in people's daily from the five perspectives of report quantity,report content,report layout,report genre and report tendency.In addition,through the text analysis method,we think about and explore the deep relationship between media memory and reports,and reveal the law of women's volleyball team memory construction.The study found that the media memory types of Chinese women's volleyball team constructed by people's daily are mainly divided into Championship memory and spiritual memory.The memory of winning the championship is mainly divided into three sections: the memory of five consecutive championships,the memory of reigniting the championship and the memory of ten consecutive championships.Taking advantage of the number of reports and the layout of reports,the symbols such as "winning the championship","victory" and "gold medal" are injected into people's memory,and the media memory construction of women's volleyball team is preliminarily realized.Spiritual memory is mainly divided into patriotism,tenacious struggle and collectivism.This part of spiritual memory is mainly that the publicity of the women's volleyball team spirit by the people's daily,as the party's ear,eye,mouthpiece and social observer,has gradually become a symbol of social culture,and the influence of the women's volleyball team spirit has been integrated into the collective memory and social memory of each generation,Further realize the construction of media memory of Chinese women's volleyball team.In the media,the memory construction of women's volleyball team is a process of continuous interaction between the media,society and readers.With the continuous development and progress of society,the report of the people's daily on the Chinese women's volleyball team has changed in different periods under different social backgrounds.The Chinese women's volleyball team in the early stage of reform and opening up,when all walks of life were waiting for prosperity,was an era when people urgently sought spiritual support.According to the report of the people's daily,the victory of the women's volleyball team has been raised to the height of stimulating the whole national spirit.In the trough period,the number of reports of Chinese women's volleyball team is different from that in the past.The media and audience began to reflect and no longer "deify" the women's volleyball team.The people's daily insists on positive reports,objectively reports the daily training and competition of the Chinese women's volleyball team,truly reflects the spiritual outlook of the Chinese women's volleyball team in training and competition,and plays an important role in the reconstruction of the media memory of the Chinese women's volleyball team.In the new era,the memory of the women's volleyball team in the mirror of the media is the integration,inheritance and development of the new and old women's volleyball team spirit.The women's volleyball team spirit in the new era has gradually become the "sea god needle" of China's sports industry.Through the analysis of the relevant reports of the Chinese women's volleyball team in the people's daily,this paper further discusses the construction of the media memory of the women's volleyball team.First of all,the people's daily symbolized the "women's volleyball spirit",vigorously carried forward the women's volleyball spirit and publicized learning from the women's volleyball team;Secondly,the use of splicing memory,through multiple reports "splicing" and layout,strong layout to build media memory,so as to realize complete narration and express the main melody;Third,imperceptibly,the agenda setting consolidates the memory,repeatedly reports the past brilliant achievements of the women's volleyball team,and strengthens the memory.
