At the National Education Conference on September 10,2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping called for cultivating socialist builders and successors who are well-developed in moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor.On March 20,2020,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Primary and secondary schools in the New Era,which incorporated labor education into the whole process of personnel training.As an important part of China's vocational education system,secondary vocational schools mainly train high-quality workers and technical skills for front-line production positions.Secondary vocational students are an important part of China's future labor force.It is of great significance to study the labor education of secondary vocational students,understand the current situation,existing problems and their causes,and then explore the countermeasures to improve the labor education of secondary vocational students.This study adopts literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to study the labor education of secondary vocational students.The study mainly analyzes the labor education of secondary vocational students from the following three dimensions,namely,labor cognition,labor attitude and labor ability.After determining the analysis framework of labor education for secondary vocational students,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on 489 students,633 parents,104 enterprise personnel and101 school teachers in many secondary vocational schools in Guangdong province through two research methods: questionnaire and interview.After the recovery and collation of the survey information,the present situation of labor education for secondary vocational students is systematically analyzed.According to the present situation of labor education of secondary vocational students,this thesis explains the importance of labor education,the important role of labor education in quality education and the necessity of developing labor education.Through the secondary vocational students,teachers,students' parents and enterprise leaders conducted questionnaires and interviews,the research results show that the main problems of secondary vocational students' labor education are: Labor cognition ignores labor education,labor attitude ignores positive guidance,and labor ability lacks practice.secondary vocational students' labor literacy evaluation mechanism is not perfect.Through the collation,analysis and induction of the questionnaire and interview survey results,the reasons for the problems of labor education of secondary vocational students are analyzed from the school level,family level,social level and individual level.In view of the problems and reasons existing in the labor education of secondary vocational students,this study puts forward the following measures to improve the labor education of secondary vocational students: First,give play to the function of labor education,establish a correct view of labor;Secondly,the goal of labor education should be defined according to the needs of students' growth.Third,develop and construct labor courses to enrich the content of labor education;Fourth,broaden the implementation of labor education,play the function of collaborative education;Fifth,establish a sound labor literacy evaluation mechanism.
