China is a country with a vast territory and numerous ethnic groups.The distribution of ethnic areas shows the characteristics of "large mixed living and small compact living".After the founding of the People's Republic of China,more and more attention has been paid to education in ethnic areas.However,due to many reasons such as history,economic and cultural development level,education in ethnic areas is still relatively backward.To pay attention to and attach importance to the development of education in ethnic minority areas is the realistic demand of accelerating ethnic education,and the change and development of education and teaching in schools in ethnic minority areas can most directly reflect the development level and existing problems of education and teaching in ethnic minority areas.Oral history as a research method can provide a perspective for the study of ethnic education to reflect the national educational policy and how teachers' education and teaching develop on individuals and to what extent.This study is based on the memory of teachers,students and administrators of Education Bureau of Chenxi Houtang Yao Township about school education.By collecting their oral data,this study describes and analyzes the teaching reform in Chenxi Houtang Yao Township since the founding of New China.This study attempts to present the track of teaching changes in Yao Township since the founding of the People's Republic of China,analyzes the collected oral data and matches and verifies them with historical data,and analyzes and interprets the local teaching changes from four aspects: teaching objectives,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,and teaching environment.For the purpose of this study,in March 2020 and July,and in January of2021 to each stream pond Yao Xiang after an interview work,and all kinds of information collection,and each time the local stay a month's time,hope that through a long period of time to get along with to communicate with local people to have a more profound,also able to Calvin creek Yao Xiang have a more profound understanding and the understanding,And fully understand the various situations here and the status quo of teaching,living in the local also can feel the local conditions and customs more deeply,for the analysis of the significance behind the status quo lay the foundation.Through a year-long data collection,careful analysis and summary of the data,the education in Yao Township is divided into four stages: the construction of the socialist period of Yao Township teaching development of the new situation(1949-1966);The tortuous course of teaching development in Yao Township during the period of unique exploration of socialist road(1966-1976);Through in-depth description and analysis of the life experience and learning experience of teachers and students in Chenxi Yao Township,This paper presents a real picture of the history of teaching reform in Houtang Yao Township of Chenxi and analyzes it from four aspects: teaching objectives,teaching methods,teaching evaluation and teaching environment in different periods.Finally,reflecting on the teaching reform of the whole Yao Township in Chenxi,we can find that the power to promote the education reform comes from all aspects: social development is the external power of the teaching reform;Student development is the indirect power of teaching reform;Teacher development is the inner power of teaching reform.As for where the teaching reform of Chenxi Yao Township should go in the future,the author puts forward the following four viewpoints,to regain the Yao Township culture,inherit and develop the excellent Yao Township traditional culture;Adhere to the educational ideal,pay attention to the professional development of local teachers;Highlight the wisdom of teachers,and expand and develop teaching contents according to local realities;Common development of teachers and students: to achieve teachers good teaching students happy to learn a virtuous circle.
