| Since 1985,China has been monitoring the physical fitness and health of our students every five years,which includes three types of indicator systems,including physical indicators,physiological indicators,and motor ability,and its research results can generally reflect the level of individual and group development of students.However,adolescents have shown a continuous decline in physical fitness monitoring for many years,and their conditions are mainly manifested as obesity,serious decline in vision,and weakness in physical fitness.The government has attached great importance on this rising phenomenon and carried out several sports reforms,dedicated to improving the physical health of students.All provinces and cities in China have also set off a wave of sports reform under the impetus of the reform policy,and after 2014,the rate of students’ physical health meeting the standard of excellence in China has been increasing year by year,and students’ physical health has been gradually improved.Although the reform has begun to bear fruit,there are still some student physical fitness and health program conditions that need to be addressed.The Chengdu Bureau of Education issued and spread the Implementation Plan of Physical Education and Health Examination for Chengdu High School Examination and Enrollment in August 2019,that is,to give full play to the guiding role of examinations,incentivize students to participate in physical exercises,master skills,and improve physical fitness.At present,domestic experts and scholars have conducted few studies on the physical education reform of the Chengdu Secondary School Examination and generally these researches are lack of deep insight.This study will conduct an in-depth research into the 2019 reform in Senior High School Entrance Examination in terms of Physical Education,specifically on its impact on Physical Education teaching,identify the advantages and shortcomings of the reform,and make rationalized suggestions for improving the physical fitness of youth,in the same time propose basic theories for the improvement on the reform of physical education in the secondary examination in Chengdu.The research targets students,teachers,and parents in the second year of junior high school at 10 schools in Chengdu,and uses literature,questionnaires,mathematical and statistical methods,and expert interviews to conduct statistics,sort out and analyze the influence of the 2019 National Examination Sports Reform on the physical education of junior high schools in Chengdu,and the research results are as follow.(1)The reform of PE education for national entrance exams give rise to multiple new higher standard for PE teachers in aspects such as professional quality.(2)The physical education reform project of the Chinese examination optimizes the teaching content,broadens students’ motor skills,and the optional test content improves students’ interest in learning.(3)Parents are taking more heed of the secondary physical education reform,but parents do not know enough about the reform items and contents.(4)Schools have increased their provision of sports equipment,but rural schools have the problem of small sports training sites.Based on the above findings,recommendations are made to.(1)Build a professional physical education teacher team and cultivate teachers’ various teaching skills and make them "versatile" teachers.(2)Optimize the process test items,clarify the process scoring criteria,and involve students and parents in the evaluation.(3)Enhance parents’ attention to their children’s exercise habits and take the initiative to communicate with teachers to supervise their children’s physical exercise.(4)Increase the investment and management of sports equipment in towns and villages to address the disparity between urban and rural sport equipment resources. |
