| In this study,the 2019 edition of senior high school biology textbook of People’s Education Press is taken as the research object,and the compilation of senior high school biology textbook is studied by means of literature research and content analysis.Based on the core literacy of biology,the analysis framework is established.Through analysis,the characteristics and shortcomings of textbooks in content selection and arrangement style are obtained,and some suggestions are put forward.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes five contents: the reason of topic selection,research significance,literature review,concept definition and research methods.There are three reasons for this study: deepening the requirements of senior high school curriculum standards,improving teachers’ teaching quality,and implementing the core literacy of biology.In the second part,the analytical framework of this study is determined,which is based on the Biology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition Revised in 2020)and referring to the research results on the core literacy of biology.The main categories of the analytical framework of this study are life concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.The third part studies the content selection of textbooks based on the core literacy of biology.Firstly,compile the analysis table of textbook content selection,and understand the distribution of the core literacy content of biology in textbooks through quantitative statistics.Secondly,through qualitative analysis,the characteristics of textbook content selection are summarized: focusing on core concepts,creating real problem situations,rich and concrete social responsibilities.The fourth part studies the textbook arrangement style based on the core literacy of biology.It is found that the arrangement style of textbooks has the characteristics of hierarchical content organization,diversified column setting and explicit core literacy of biology.The fifth part points out the shortcomings of textbook compilation and puts forward suggestions for improvement.This study found that there are three shortcomings in textbook compilation: slightly one-sided content selection,marginally complicated arrangement style,and imprecise illustration drawing,and put forward two suggestions:reasonably supplementing the missing content and appropriately simplifying the arrangement style. |
