Educational scientific research refers to the education and teaching research behavior of teachers and related staff,using the methods of scientific research to reflect on and explore educational phenomena or problems,and to solve problems.In response to the national policy“The 13 th Five-Year Plan for the Development of National Education”,this article analyzes the present situation of education and scientific research of middle school biology teachers in Jiangxi Province,understands the current problems of meddle school biology teachers,and provides the supporting data theoretical basis and practical countermeasures for improving the present situation of education and scientific research of teachers.The questionnaire was designed through four dimensions: the education and scientific research awareness of middle school biology teachers,the present situation of middle school biology teachers participating in educational research,the ability of middle school biology teachers to participate in educational research,and the factors affecting middle school biology teachers participating in educational research.A questionnaire survey was conducted with 151 teachers from 10 cities in Jiangxi Province to understand the current situation of education and scientific research of biology teachers in middle schools in Jiangxi Province:(1)The scores of the four dimensions are: 3.959,3.701,3.340,4.038,average scores is 3.661 points,both are at a good level.(2)Educational background,age,and district have a certain influence on the present situation of education and scientific research of middle school biology teachers,but there is no significant difference.(3)Gender,professional title,and teaching time have significant differences in the present situation of high school biology teacher education and scientific research.In terms of gender,the overall score of men is higher than that of women;in terms of professional titles,with the increase of professional titles,teachers perform better in the current situation of education and teaching research;in terms of teaching time,teachers with a teaching time of 16-25 years performs best.With reference to the“Ranking of Reprinting Index of Reprinted Newspapers and Periodicals in 2018”,ten representative educational journals were selected,and the papers published by middle school biology teachers in Jiangxi Province from 2016 to 2020 were analyzed through billiometrics,and the following status was initially formed:(1)The ratio of the number of papers published by middle school biology teachers in Jiangxi Province in the past five years to the number of papers published by all middle school biology teachers is less than 1/34,that is,the ability to publish papers is weaker than other provinces;(2)Due to the reformation of the examination and enrollment system in Jiangxi Province in 2018.Therefore,the amount of papers issued by teachers in the past five years reached the lowest point in 2018;(3)The research focus on the thesis of "teacher teaching",accounting for 64.13% of the total,focusing on important topics such as "core literacy" and "information technology" is not enough.Collected and sorted out various provincial-level projects for basic education in Jiangxi Province from 2016 to 2020,and analyzed the status of the projects of Biology teachers in middle schools in Jiangxi Province with quantitative statistics.The current situation is as follows:(1)The number of projects is on the rise;(2)In the past five years,the three scientific disciplines of Biology,physics,chemistry have been approved at the provincial level as 136,232,245.Biology has the least number of projects;(3)The research focus on the topics of “teacher teaching”,“Disciplinary Core Literacy” and "Information Technology" accounted for 36.76%,14.71% and14.71% of the total number of topics approved respectively.Based on the above analysis of the current situation,the following countermeasures are put forward: middle school biology teachers should enrich education and scientific research knowledge from multiple perspectives,and improve education and scientific research capabilities in practice;schools should create a good education and scientific research atmosphere,provide high-quality education and scientific research services,and support the research of “Disciplinary Core Literacy” and “educational information technology”.
