| As a quasi-public product,education can not only improve the labor productivity and income of the educated,but also extend its benefits or utility to groups other than the educated and benefit the whole society.Therefore,this paper,based on the sense of self-efficacy,discusses the influence of the sense of self-efficacy on the quality of employment of higher vocational students by putting forward research assumptions,investigation,analysis and demonstration.In the aspect of research hypothesis,combined with literature and empirical research needs,this paper puts forward the hypothesis that vocational college students’ self-efficacy in choosing jobs has an impact on their employment quality.In the aspect of current situation investigation: First,by designing a questionnaire,388 vocational college students in D vocational college in Guizhou were collected,and the reliability and validity of the Career Self-efficacy Scale were analyzed,and it was found that the data of the scale was highly reliable and effective;Second,through the investigation of vocational college students’ job-hunting self-efficacy and employment quality,it is found that vocational college students’ job-hunting self-efficacy and employment quality are at the middle level,and both of them have great room for improvement.In the aspect of analysis and demonstration,using Chi-square test,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other methods,the following conclusions are drawn: There are significant differences between job-hunting efficacy and employment quality of vocational college students with different personal backgrounds;There is a significant positive correlation between job-hunting self-efficacy and employment quality of higher vocational students.Compared with personal background,job-hunting self-efficacy has a more prominent influence on the employment quality of higher vocational students.Based on the research conclusion,this paper puts forward some intervention suggestions to enhance vocational college students’ sense of self-efficacy,such as government providing employment services,vocational colleges adjusting curriculum and providing career guidance,vocational college students adjusting their employment expectations and improving their ability to choose jobs,and families providing employment support. |
