Parents are the first teachers of their children,and their words,actions and behaviors directly or indirectly affect the healthy growth of children,and the educational environment and atmosphere of the family also affect the development of children.Especially in the left-behind families,the left-behind women are relatively poor in family education ability due to the lack of their own resources and abilities,and interventions are beneficial to promote their own growth and that of their children.This paper takes X village left-behind women in T city as the research object,and uses questionnaire survey method and semi-structured interview method to investigate the current problems and needs of local left-behind women's educational ability in the field,and finds that their family education ability is deficient,and intervenes in four aspects of specific controllable factors: family education concept,family behavior,social support and information access.Through interviews and questionnaires,we found that the causes are mainly backward family education concepts,inappropriate family education methods,lack of social support network and shortage of information access channels.In order to analyze the problems and reasons for the lack of family education ability of left-behind women,the author used the "system-empowerment" theory as the research guide,and applied the group work method to explore how social work can improve the family education ability of left-behind women from three levels: individual level,environmental resources and social support.After the intervention,using both process evaluation and outcome evaluation,it was found that group work does have a positive effect on improving the family education capacity of left-behind women,but there are also some limitations and shortcomings,so this study proposes recommendations for developing rural women's family education capacity on this basis: consolidating the basic position of family in education,building a family education system with multiple subjects,and social workers should improve their own capacity to provide diversified services for left-behind women.
