Research On The Effective Application Of New Media In College Students' Ideological And Political Education

The vigorous development of new media has changed people's life and thoughts,enriched people's way of learning,and broaden people's way of communication.For college students who are easy to accept new things,they have been a main force of Internet and new media.Instructive and harmful network information are intermingled,and college students whose values are in the formation period are influenced by new media information to different extents.Therefore,in the new era,how to effectively utilize new media is a problem that colleges and universities should seriously consider and study,which is of great theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,based on Marxist theory,Spiral of Silence theory,Maslow's hierarchy of needs,etc,the literature review,questionnaire survey,comparative analysis are carried out to deeply understand the current situation of utilizing new media to conduct college students ideological and political education,analyze the challenges and causes of college students' ideological and political education,and explore the effective ways of utilizing new media to improve college students' ideological and political education.Moreover,through the investigation and data analysis of the current situation of utilizing new media to carry out ideological and political education in several colleges and universities in Hebei Province,it can be seen that it is conducive generally,but there are still some issues.In addition,based on the analysis of challenges and reasons in college students' ideological and political education,the countermeasures and methods of strengthening and improving college students' ideological and political education may be explored from the four perspectives: the filed of education broadened by new media,Strengthening the guidance of education for college students under the background of new media,improve the quality of subject and object,and educational environment.In brief,when carrying out college students' ideological and political education,we are supposed to give full play to the advantages of new media to enrich educational content and methods,attach importance to improving the new media level of teachers and students,regulate college students' network behavior,integrate the forces of family,school and society to enhance the effect of college students' ideological and political education,help college students firm their ideal and faith,so as to achieve the effective application of new media in college students' ideological and political education.
