At present,there are a large number of left-behind children in rural areas of China,parents are separated from left-behind children.Due to the relationship between time and region,parents do not pay enough attention to left-behind children.So rural left-behind children are more likely to face survival,development and protection problems,some education problems,safety awareness is not strong and low self efficacy.And rural left-behind children of these problems are social work profession has been an important category.This study in Z village,Yongzhou city,Hunan province,for example,in the process of contact with Z village left-behind children,through interviews,participation in observation,questionnaire and scale found part of the main problems of the rural left-behind children include: weak interpersonal communication,escape difficulties and difficult to control emotional self efficacy problems.Research subjects were recruited through voluntary registration,village cadre recommendation,volunteer teachers recommendation,etc.,and 8 left-behind children were finally selected as research subjects after interview and scale measurement.Under the guidance of self-efficacy theory,the group activity was designed,and the self-efficacy of rural left behind children was intervened through four ways: speech persuasion,success or failure experience,alternative experience and physiological and emotional state.It is hoped that through group work,the rural left-behind children can understand and affirm themselves,improve their ability to solve difficulties,improve their interpersonal skills,learn and then manage their emotions and improve their self efficacy.Process assessment,outcome assessment and social worker assessment were used to test the effectiveness of group activities,some ability to solve difficulties,interpersonal skills and manage emotions,and improved self efficacy.Through this study,the following conclusions are drawn: group work can improve the self efficacy of rural left-behind children;self efficacy theory can improve the self efficacy of rural left-behind children;successful direct experience can stimulate the enthusiasm of group members.Finally,we will reflect on the practice process of social work and put forward relevant suggestions,hoping to help more rural left-behind children to improve their self efficacy.
