An Intervention Study On Social Interaction Problems Of Empty-nesters In Urban Villages Based On Life Review Group

With the acceleration of urbanization,people's living standards continue to improve,the aging degree of the population deepened,followed by the phenomenon of empty nesters increasingly prominent.Due to the lack of emotional support and empty nester family company,narrow the circle of life,easy to produce inferiority,loss,exchanges to avoid negative emotions,such as inner resistance to contact new things,this kind old man heart lonely depressed mood is comfort,in the long run,will affect the quality of the old man's spiritual life,severe cases may do harm to the old man's own life.Therefore,it is of great social significance to carry out professional intervention and research on empty nesters with negative emotions,dig into their causes and help them build social network.Based on this background,this study takes J Community in Shenzhen city as an example.Questionnaire method,interview method and observation method are used to investigate and understand the basic situation of empty-nesters in the community.On this basis,the social communication status of empty-nesters is investigated and the causes are analyzed.The life review group combining the life review theory and group work method was used to intervene and intervene the social communication problems of empty-nesters in the community,with the achievement of reviewing the important stage of life as the clue,mainly in order to effectively relieve the negative emotions of empty-nesters and help them improve their self-confidence and satisfaction.At the same time by taking part in group work process to establish and consolidate its peer groups between the social support network,so that they can improve their ability of social support and social intercourse ability,to a certain extent,meet the spiritual needs of empty nest elderly,let the old man into a correct concept of in later life,actively respond to challenges in later life,to spend their twilight years.Finally,it summarizes and reflects on the working process of the group.The study showed that the goal was achieved by conducting the life review group.The combination of group work method and life review theory can establish and consolidate the social support network of empty nesters in urban villages,thus alleviating the spiritual loneliness of the elderly,but there is still room for progress in group work.In the last part of the article,the deficiencies in the practice of this life review group are reflected and summarized,hoping to provide reference for the group work to intervene in the social communication practice of empty-nesters in urban villages in the future.
