| Brain fitness refers to the process of changing brain structure and function through specific behavioral exercises and specialized limb training, ultimately improving various brain functions.Brain fitness is a manifestation of brain plasticity.Long-term drug use can cause abnormal activation of human brain activity, thereby affecting the normal operation of the brain, resulting in decreased brain function and lower brain plasticity than normal people. Therefore, the brain fitness level of drug users is relatively low.Previous studies have shown that the decline in brain fitness among drug users can lead to a decline in physical fitness, fine motor skills, and adaptability.Exercise,as an effective non drug intervention method, can improve cognitive function and brain fitness levels.Since brain fitness reflects multiple functional levels of the human brain, adopting multiple combinations of exercise modes has certain significance in improving the brain fitness level of drug addicts. However,at present, there is still a lack of systematic research on the integration of multiple sports training methods for motor intervention in the brain fitness of drug addicts.Recent research has found that multi component exercise as an innovative combination of multiple exercise interventions has better effects on brain and cognitive function.Based on this, this study, based on the characteristics of multi-component exercise, combined with the decline in brain fitness levels of drug addicts, selected multi-component exercise that meets the physical and mental characteristics of drug addicts as the intervention method to study the impact of multi-component exercise intervention on brain fitness and physical fitness of drug addicts.Research purpose:This study investigated the effects of 8-week multi component exercise on brain fitness and physical fitness of drug addicts by intervening with them. The purpose is to provide targeted rehabilitation training to improve the brain fitness level and physical fitness of drug addicts, and provide new ideas for drug addicts to return to society with better physical health.Research methods:In this study,60 male drug addicts aged 30-59 were randomly divided into a control group(DAC)and a multi component exercise intervention group(DAE).Among them, the control group performed activities according to the routine drug treatment provided by the Drug Treatment Bureau, and the multi-component exercise intervention group conducted 8-week multi-component exercise intervention(5times/week,60 minutes/time,exercise intensity controlled at 60%-70% of the maximum heart rate, with resistance training of 50-60% 1RM).In addition,30 healthy subjects who meet the inclusion criteria were randomly selected as a health group(HG)as the standard for brain fitness and physical fitness of general adults, providing standards and references for various indicators of drug addicts. Before and after the experiment, brain fitness indicators(overall cognitive function, bilateral coordination, movement stability, and finger flexibility)and physical fitness indicators(grip strength, push ups, five consecutive seat tests,50 m running, sitting and forward flexion, reaction time, and single leg standing with eyes closed)were tested to compare and analyze the effects of multicomponent exercise on brain fitness and physical fitness of male drug addicts.Research results:1.The effect of 8-week multi-component exercise intervention on brain fitness of male drug addicts:(1)Before the 8-week multicomponent exercise intervention, compared with the HG group,In the DAC and DAE groups, the Mo CA scores were significantly decreased(P < 0.01),the total time of two-hand coordination was significantly prolonged(P < 0.01),the number of passing holes in the nine-hole test was significantly reduced(P < 0.01),the end segment of the groove test was significantly shortened, and the suspension time of the stability test was significantly reduced(P <0.01).P < 0.01),the number of hand-pulling,turning and rotation were significantly reduced(P < 0.01,P < 0.01,P < 0.01).These results indicate that drug abuse can have a significant negative effect on the brain, affect the function of the brain, and reduce the level of brain fitness significantly.(2)After eight weeks of multicomponent exercise intervention, compared with the DAC group,In the DAE group, the Mo CA score was significantly increased(P <0.05),the total time of two-hand coordination was significantly shortened(P < 0.01),the number of passing holes in the nine-hole test was significantly increased(P <0.05),the end segment of the groove test was significantly prolonged(P < 0.01),and there was no significant change in the hanging time of the stability test(P > 0.05),and the number of thrusts and thrusts of the left and right hands and turning were significantly increased The number of rotations and the number of rotations were significantly increased(P < 0.01,P < 0.01,P < 0.01).Compared with the HG group,In the DAE group, there was no significant difference in Mo CA score(P > 0.05),the total time of two-hand coordination was significantly prolonged(P < 0.01),the number of passing holes in the nine-hole test was significantly reduced(P < 0.05),the end section of the groove test was significantly shortened(P < 0.01),the hanging time of the stability test was significantly reduced(P < 0.01),and The Times of inserting and pulling left and right hands were significantly reduced There was no significant difference in the number of left hand flips(P > 0.05),but the number of right hand flips(P < 0.05)and the number of left and right hand rotations(P < 0.01)were significantly reduced.Compared with before 8 weeks multicomponent exercise intervention,DAC group of Mo CA score, total time hands coordination, nine holes through hole number and stability testing hangtime turn left and right call waiting times, number of hands and rotations are no significant change(P > 0.05,P > 0.05,P > 0.05,P > 0.05,P > 0.05,P > 0.05.P > 0.05),and the end segment of groove test was significantly shortened(P < 0.05).In DAE group, the Mo CA score was significantly increased, the total time of two-hand coordination was significantly shortened, the number of passing holes in the nine-hole test was significantly increased, the termination section of the groove test was significantly prolonged, the number of left-right flip and rotation were significantly increased(P < 0.01,P < 0.01,P < 0.01,respectively),and the number of hanging time in the stability test was not significantly improved(P > 0.05).P < 0.05,P < 0.05,P < 0.01,P < 0.01,P < 0.05).These results suggest that the decline of cerebral fitness caused by drug abuse will not be improved naturally over time, and multi-component exercise intervention can improve the cerebral fitness level of drug abusers to a certain extent.2.The effect of 8-week multi-component exercise intervention on physical fitness of male drug addicts:(1)Before the eight-week multi-component exercise intervention, compared with HG group, the physical fitness levels(grip strength,push-up,5 consecutive seat test,50 m run, choice reaction time and one-legged stand test with eyes closed)in DAC group and DAE group were significantly decreased(P < 0.01).It indicates that the physical quality of drug addicts is declining.(2)After eight weeks of multi-component exercise intervention, compared with the DAC group, the DAE group had a significantly lower time spent on five consecutive seat tests(P < 0.01),a significantly shorter choice reaction time(P <0.05),and a significantly longer time spent on standing with eyes closed(P < 0.05).However,compared with HG group, there was no significant difference in sitting forward flexion(P>0.05),and the scores of other physical fitness indexes(grip strength,push-up,5 consecutive seat tests,50 m running, choice reaction time and single leg standing with eyes closed)in DAE group were still significantly decreased(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).There were no significant changes in grip strength,push-ups,5consecutive seat tests,50 m running,sit-to-reach,choice reaction time and one-legged standing with eyes closed in DAC group(P > 0.05).In DAE group, the scores of push-ups,5 consecutive seat tests,50 m running, choice reaction time and one-legged standing with eyes closed were significantly improved(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01)except grip strength and sitting forward flexion. The results indicate that 8-week multi-component exercise intervention can effectively improve some physical fitness of drug abusers, but there are still some gaps in some indicators compared with healthy adults.Research conclusions:Eight weeks of multi component exercise intervention can effectively improve the brain fitness level of male drug addicts, mainly manifested in significant improvements in overall cognitive function, bilateral coordination, movement stability, and finger flexibility. At the same time,8-week multi-component exercise intervention can improve some of the physical qualities of male drug addicts, such as lower limb muscle strength, sensitivity, and balance ability. |
