The grain is the life of the people and the treasure of the nation.Only when a country is basically self-sufficient in food can it take the initiative in food security and then control the overall situation of economic and social development.China has always attached great importance to the development of agriculture and placed food security in an important strategic position.Since the launch of reform and opening up,China’s overall grain production capacity has steadily increased and its food supply has become increasingly abundant.With nearly 9 percent of the world’s arable land and 6.5percent of the world’s water resources,China has steadily fed more than one billion people,making remarkable achievements in this regard.However,in the process of increasing grain production,there are still many problems,such as decrease of cultivated land,soil pollution,frequent disasters and unreasonable planting structure.At present,the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading around the world,which further increases the risk of food supply.How to ensure national food security in the long term is a matter of great concern.At the same time,the increase of grain production is an important part of national food security,and it is also very important to further explore the way to increase grain production.At present,there are many researches on the effect of yield per unit area,area and structure adjustment on grain increase,but there are few literatures on the contribution of production layout adjustment to grain increase.Based on this,this paper puts forward the proposition of "calculation and research on the contribution of adjustment of grain production layout to grain increase" and carries out relevant discussion.It is hoped that through this study,we can find out the optimal plan of improving grain production capacity by adjusting grain production layout,so as to achieve the goal of increasing grain production continuously in China.Based on the agricultural location theory,comparative advantage theory and industrial structure theory as a foundation,and comprehensively systematically and production layout and grain production at home and abroad are reviewed.Relevant research results and development situation of food production in grain production layout as the research object,through literature reading,mathematical analysis,statistical analysis,etc.,from the following four dimensions of study: One is to analyze the production and distribution of rice,corn,wheat and soybean in China.Second,the contribution to the adjustment of grain production distribution is measured and analyzed.Third,put forward the future direction of adjustment of grain production layout;The fourth is to give the optimal path of grain production layout.Correlation analysis shows the future adjustment trend of grain crop production layout: the dominant rice production areas will continue to stabilize in the central region,and expand to the northeast region.The center of gravity of wheat production layout will continue to move to the Huang-Huai-hai region.The center of gravity of corn production will continue to move to Huang-Huai-hai region and northeast China.The main production area of soybean will continue to stabilize in northeast China.The measurement results show that the yield and the area of contribution has always been an important factor of grain production,structural adjustment in the process of grain production contribution is obvious,but the layout adjustment of contribution to yield little,scarcity of land supply in our country and increase space against the background of continued to decline,this is precisely the future grain production shall be adjusted in the layout.In order to ensure the food security of Our country,we must improve the comprehensive production capacity of domestic food,improve the self-sufficiency rate of our country’s food,reduce the degree of external dependence,so that the rice bowl of Chinese people firmly in their own hands,layout adjustment will be an important way to increase food production in the future,with huge potential space.According to the research,the optimization suggestions are: promote the distribution of grain production in line with the comparative advantage;Speed up the construction of national food security industrial belt;We will strive to optimize the varieties of dominant crops in the region.
