Design Of Bath Chair For The Elderly With Dementia Based On Kano Model

As the number of elderly people with dementia continues to surge in my country,the existing bath chairs cannot meet the bathing needs of the elderly with dementia.Therefore,based on the KJ method and the Kano model,this thesis conducts a systematic design innovation research and design on the bath chair for the elderly by analyzing the physiological and psychological characteristics,bathing behavior characteristics,and the needs and problems of nursing staff in the process of bathing and nursing based on the KJ method and the Kano model.practice.First,introduce the concepts of KJ method and Kano model,briefly describe the application,advantages and disadvantages of KJ method and Kano model,analyze the effectiveness of KJ-Kano model combined in this thesis,and provide information for subsequent acquisition and analysis of user needs.theoretical guidance.Secondly,from the perspective of users of bathing chairs,the physiological and psychological characteristics and bathing behavior characteristics of the elderly with dementia are analyzed,and from the perspective of systematics,it is discussed that “the elderly with dementia,nursing staff(users)-bath chairs(products)-bathroom"(environment)”.Under the application of the KJ method,the user needs were collected,classified and summarized,and the user needs list model of the bath chair for the elderly with dementia was constructed.Then,build the user demand list and Kano model questionnaire,quantitatively analyze the classification,user satisfaction and priority ranking of each demand item,construct the user demand weight matrix,determine the product design attributes,and summarize the bathing for the elderly with dementia.Chair design principles.Finally,according to the analysis results of user needs,the design concept of the bath chair for the demented elderly was carried out for each of the necessary needs,expected needs,and attractive needs attributes,and a sketch plan was drawn,and Rhinoceros and Key Shot software were used to determine the optimal form.The sketch is drawn for the effect drawing,and the design scheme is realized.This thesis uses the KJ method in combination with the Kano model to realize the conversion between the user needs and design elements of the bath chair for the elderly with dementia,provide users with a more satisfactory design plan for the bath chair,and serve as a reference for the design of the same type of aging-friendly products.significance.
