Technical personnel,as one of the most important supporting elements of scientific and technological innovation,especially the key technical personnel,play a vital role in the development of science and technology,and are the precious resources and core competitiveness of enterprises.Effective incentive mechanism can improve the enthusiasm and efficiency of technical personnel,and then better complete science and technology projects.This paper takes A company(A state-owned chemical company in China)as the research object,focusing on the incentive mechanism of its technical staff and its improvement.Through investigation and research,it is found that the incentive mechanism of technical personnel in A chemical Company mainly has the following problems: First,due to multiple reasons such as the economic benefits of the company and the impact of the epidemic,the compensation of technical personnel is generally low,which cannot effectively motivate employees;Second,the promotion channel of evaluation is single,and the salary incentive can not be matched for promotion,which leads to the unintentional promotion of employees;Third,the training system is a mere formality,lack of targeted technical training for technical staff;Fourth,the rigid management system leads to low morale of technical staff working atmosphere,lack of innovation and challenge spirit.In view of the above problems,this paper takes the western classical incentive theory as the core,the Incentive theory with Chinese characteristics as the reference,and takes the combination of company goals and employee goals,reform and innovation,the combination of short-term incentive and long-term incentive,fairness and justice as the principles.Put forward systematic solutions from salary level adjustment,evaluation and promotion mechanism adjustment,training system adjustment,comprehensive management system adjustment and so on.Moreover,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the improvement measures,this paper also puts forward three guarantee measures,including leadership organization guarantee,fund guarantee and cultural guarantee,to improve the incentive effect of technical staff of A chemical Company from various aspects.The relevant work in this paper can not only be directly used as A company’s incentive mechanism reform plan,but also can be used as A reference for other enterprises in the same industry,so as to improve the overall incentive effect of technical personnel in the chemical industry and promote the development of the chemical industry chain.
