Horizontal CNC turret is the key functional component of CNC lathe,and its stiffness and precision performance directly affect the overall performance of CNC lathe.This paper takes a company’s horizontal CNC turret as the research object,focusing on the research of the stiffness modeling,the research and development of the stiffness test bed,and the static stiffness test and analysis.The main achievements are as follows:In the aspect of stiffness modeling of CNC turret,by analyzing the internal structure and functional principle of a horizontal CNC turret of a company,the mechanical transfer characteristics of the CNC turret in the locked state and the loaded state are studied,and based on this,the tangential,axial and reverse stiffness models of the CNC turret are established,which can reveal the relationship between the stiffness of the turret in these three directions and the flexibility of internal components.Taking the 63 type horizontal CNC turret as an example,the stiffness calculation in three directions is carried out,and the contribution rate of the main parts of the turret to the deformation of the whole machine in three directions after being loaded is quantitatively analyzed,so as to determine the weak link of the rigidity of the turret.In the aspect of the research and development of CNC turret static stiffness test bed,according to the static loading requirements of the national standard,a static stiffness test bed suitable for turret tangential,axial forward and axial reverse stiffness detection is designed.The design work of the test bed includes the mechanical structure design of the force loading device,the hardware system design of the CNC turret based on the motion control card,the design of the turret operation control and static stiffness test software,and the functional design of the human-computer interaction of the test bed.The test bed can support various types of CNC turret operation control and static stiffness detection.On this basis,the construction of the test bed was completed,and the loading test,the high and low pressure operation test of the hydraulic station,and the manual and automatic operation of the turret were carried out to verify the effectiveness of the function of the test bed.In the aspect of static stiffness test and analysis of CNC turret,taking 63 and 80 type CNC turrets as examples,the process and method of static stiffness test of CNC turret are studied,and the static stiffness value of turret is obtained by processing and analyzing the test results.The stiffness modeling accuracy is verified.The influence of various errors on the test results is analyzed,and through the analysis and calculation of the repeatability of the test results,it is proved that the test data is scientific and effective,and the test bed design meets the technical requirements.In addition,the variation law of the rigidity of the CNC turret with the hydraulic pressure is studied,and the degree of influence of the locking pressure on the rigidity of the turret is revealed.
