Wedge gate valve is named because its sealing surface is at an angle to the vertical centerline,i.e.,the two sealing surfaces are wedge-shaped.Wedge gate valves need to work for a long time in a high-pressure environment,the quality of the bonnet processing has an important impact on its sealing performance.Therefore,the processing of the gate valve cover has high requirements.ZG00-AR01 wedge gate valve cover is a typical complex parts,in the process of processing not only to process the valve body connection surface and side,but also a large number of hole system processing.Using the traditional processing method to process this kind of valve cover is not only complex process and to go through multiple clamping,processing accuracy is difficult to ensure,the processing efficiency is not high.The use of double spindle horizontal turn-milling machine tools processing,can meet the processing of such valve cover process requirements,so that the process is concentrated,effectively improve production efficiency and processing quality,reduce production costs.This project is based on a double spindle horizontal turn-milling machine tools to study the efficient machining technology of ZG00-AR01 wedge gate valve cover,and its research contains the following contents.(1)Establish a three-dimensional model of ZG00-AR01 wedge gate valve cover and analyze its processability and required machine tool performance,determine the type of processing machine and processing method.(2)Develop a special tooling fixture for machining the gate valve cover,and develop the machining process and corresponding post-processing based on UG software in line with the double spindle horizontal turn-milling machine tools.(3)A virtual machine tool suitable for machining ZG00-AR01 wedge gate valve cover with double spindle horizontal turn-milling machine tools is established,and the machining simulation of ZG00-AR01 wedge gate valve cover is carried out on the established virtual machine tool,and the main cutting force is simulated and analyzed.(4)The machining simulation time is compared and analyzed,and the data is optimized for the parameters that affect the metal removal rate and affect the main cutting force in important processes to select the appropriate machining parameters.(5)To carry out the overall design of the double spindle horizontal turn-milling machine tools,to provide reference for the development of the actual machining machine.The machining process for machining valve caps and the virtual machine tool for double spindle horizontal turn-milling machine tools were developed;orthogonal tests were designed for important processes,and the primary and secondary factors of the influence of cutting parameters on the main cutting force and metal removal rate were derived through simulation,and the ideal point method was used to optimize the selection of cutting parameters;the key components of the machine tool were selected by calculation.
