Heterocyclic disperse dyes refer to disperse dyes containing nitrogen,oxygen,sulfur and other heteroatoms in conjugated systems,which have the characteristics of diverse structures and rich types.Heterocyclic disperse dyes have attracted a lot of attention from textile industry practitioners because of their bright color light,excellent hair color power and excellent color fastness.Among the disperse dyes,anthraquinone dyes are the main blue dyes,with high cost and relatively few varieties.In recent years,some blue heterocyclic disperse dyes with bright color,high hair power and relatively low production cost have been developed abroad.Due to the lack of in-depth study on the dyeing properties of this kind of dyes,uneven dyeing and even dyeing defects such as colored flowers and spots are easy to occur when dyeing according to the conventional process of polyester.In order to solve the above problems,this paper studies the dyeing properties,levelness and transferability of two blue heterocyclic disperse dyes,Disperse Blue 354 and Disperse Color Blue QS-B,which are prone to levelness problems in the market,analyzes the causes of levelness problems caused by these dyes,and explores the corresponding improvement strategies.Firstly,the molecular structures of Disperse Blue 354 and Disperse Blue QS-B were purified and verified.The consistency between the dye structure and the structure reported in the literature was proved by means of mass spectrometry,~1H NMR,infrared spectroscopy and high performance liquid chromatography,and the cell parameters of dye molecules were simulated and calculated.Then,the standard deviation of K/S value of dyed polyester is calculated by statistical method,and the levelness of dyed fabric is evaluated by standard deviation.Through the optimization of dyeing process,the dyeing process with low dye dosage and small bath ratio is determined to improve the standard deviation and highlight the problem of levelness.Then,by studying the applicability of residual liquid method,DMF stripping method and fiber dissolution method to determine the dye uptake of Disperse Blue 354 and Disperse Blue QS-B,it is determined that the fiber dissolution method is selected to obtain the dye uptake data.Secondly,with Disperse Blue 60 with excellent levelness as reference dye,the levelness,high-temperature dispersion stability,permeability,dyeing kinetics,dyeing thermodynamics and migration of Disperse Blue 60,Disperse Blue 354 and Disperse Blue QS-B on polyester fiber were comparatively studied.It is found that Disperse Blue60 has small molecular volume and short half-dyeing time,and it shows good diffusivity and migration when dyeing polyester,which makes the levelness excellent.The large standard affinity of Disperse Blue 354 to polyester and the poor molecular diffusion performance of disperse color blue QS-B are the main reasons for the poor levelness of these two dyes.Finally,the effects of leveling agent TF-213HA,mending agent TF-216 and dye guide TF-258w on the leveling of Disperse Dlue 354 and Disperse Dlue QS-B were explored.The results show that the leveling agent TF-213HA with nonionic surfactant as the main component can improve the high-temperature dispersion stability of Disperse Blue 354 and Disperse Blue QS-B,because it can solubilize and slow dye,and improve the levelness obviously.When its concentration is 0.7 g/L,Disperse Blue 354 and Disperse Blue QS-B can obtain better color depth and levelness.The mending agent TF-216,which is composed of nonionic surfactant and carrier,has obvious effect on improving the high-temperature dispersion stability of dyes,the migration rate and levelness of Disperse Dlue 354,and the migration rate and levelness of Disperse Dlue QS-B to some extent.TF-258w,a carrier-containing dye guide,can accelerate the dye uptake rate,significantly change the standard affinity and transfer performance of dyes to fibers,but has no obvious improvement on levelness.
