| With the rapid expansion of urbanization and industrialization,the demand for all kinds of energy is increasing.On the premise of ensuring economic development,how to improve energy efficiency has become an urgent concern.As the pillar industry of national economy,the construction industry has the problems of high energy consumption and low energy utilization rate.Differences in production factors,economic development,policy guidance and other aspects lead to unbalanced green development of the construction industry in different regions.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify the scale and evolution differences of energy efficiency in the construction industry in different regions,explore the internal driving factors of energy efficiency development in the construction industry in different regions,and formulate targeted energy conservation and emission reduction policies for the construction industry for local governments.Realizing sustainable coordinated development of our country construction industry has the very meaning.From the perspective of heterogeneity in the development of energy efficiency in the construction industry in the east,middle and western regions of China,this paper uses the Meta-Frontier Epsilon Based Measure(MF-EBM)model to measure the total factor energy efficiency of the construction industry in 30 provinces(except Xizang and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)during 2006-2020.On this basis,the Dagum Gini coefficient method,kernel density estimation function,Markov transfer probability matrix and Moran’s I index method were comprehensively used to analyze the difference characteristics,dynamic evolution process,spatio-temporal transfer characteristics and spatial autocorrelation characteristics of the total factor energy efficiency of construction industry in different regions.Ten influencing factors closely related to energy use in construction industry are selected and analyzed from the direct effects and space spillover effects by Spatial Durbin Model(SDM).The results show that the energy efficiency of the construction industry in each region presents a law of "high in the east,medium in the middle and low in the west".The proportion of management inefficiency in the eastern region is more than 50%,and the proportion of technical inefficiency in the central and western regions is 63.83% and68.75%,respectively.During the study period,the differences of energy efficiency in the construction industry in different regions showed an increasing trend of change,and the "solidification" characteristics of energy efficiency transition in the construction industry in different regions were significant,which was difficult to occur the "jump" phenomenon.During the study period,the energy efficiency of construction industry showed a spatial autocorrelation.Optimizing the energy consumption structure of construction industry and improving the quality of urbanization are the key to the green development of construction industry in eastern China.Improving the level of industrial development and expanding the scale of construction enterprises are the main directions of improving energy efficiency of construction industry in central China.Promoting high-quality economic development,continuously advancing the urbanization process and strengthening regional infrastructure construction are the key work to improve the energy utilization level of construction industry in western China.The energy efficiency of the construction industry moving out of the provinces will be improved if the backward provinces absorb the energy-intensive construction enterprises moving out of the neighboring advanced provinces.The clustering of construction enterprises in each region will produce a "siphon effect" to attract the transfer of advanced enterprises in neighboring provinces and inhibit the improvement of energy efficiency in the regional construction industry.Finally,based on the characteristics of energy efficiency development in the construction industry and the driving forces of energy efficiency change in the construction industry,suggestions on differentiated energy conservation and emission reduction development in the construction industry based on local conditions were put forward for the east,middle and western regions... |
