With the development and wide application of embedded technology,gradhics realism display has been an important research in the modern aviation electronic system.The original graphics rendering method occupies too much CPU resource,due to its overly complexity and CPU serial computing,the development of the airborne computer graphics make it increasingly urgent desire for a high-performance parallel computing GPU(Graphic Processing Unit).More and more graphical R&D personnel turn to airborne graphics display system architecture of CPU+GPU.Due to its own characteristic,traditional GPU display system only supports Windows and Linux system,so it can not be used to do the graphics research of VxWorks embedded system on the CPU+GPU platform.Therefore,aiming at the actual application for the Institute of AVIC Avionics display and control system,the paper deeply analysis the key technique of the aviation airborne GPU system components and graphics technology,and mainly study the airborne GPU graphics display technology and graphics driver on VxWorks operating system,with the embedded CPU+GPU as the hardware platform,with the strong real-time operating system as the software platform,with the open graphics library OpenGL which has superior performance as the user interface.Verified by the experiments on the platform,conclusions are drawn from the analysis in this paper that the designed system realize the graphics library transplantation under VxWorks,the drive of the graphics transplantation and display function,and it can satisfy the basic instrumentation display of airborne cockpit.
