In recent years,with the rapid development of our country industry,molds industry has been developing rapidly;China has become the third largest molds producer and is second to Japan and the United States of molds industry.China’s molds industry was driven by the development of in in the traditional industry and emerging industries,molds manufacturing level has been significantly improved.But what is undeniable is that China’s molds industry overall level is still at a relatively low level of development.With the improving of the degree of industrialization,low cost,low value-added and low technology content of mold manufacturing process will be eliminated gradually,it has been in low-and route of the development in molds industry in our country will face a huge challenge,so if the molds manufacturing and small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in our country,who want to change the fate of elimination,grasp opportunities in the future and achieve rapid development,they must adopt the actions such transformation and upgrading,structure adjusting,formulate the corresponding development strategies and get the fundamental change from the industrialization development,for the enterprise to get ahead in the increasingly fierce competition.SEITZ as a wholly foreign owned enterprise relies on mainly export commodities of the molds,with the influence of internal and external environmental factors in domestic labor costs increase,raw materials cost increase and a trade war between US and China in the recent years,cost advantage is more and more weak,Enterprise was facing multiple issues such market competition pressure,product upgrading transformation and sustainable development.SEITZ Company as the research object in this paper as the author selected,according to current situation of enterprises,combining the theory of development strategy,the existing SEITZ company strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats were analyzed and summarized.Through the analysis of internal and external factors,using strategic development research tools such the baud five model,SWOT matrix,PEST analysis,combined with the company development orientation,strategic objectives,etc.,put forward the selection of the optimization of development strategy and competition strategy,then through a series of necessary measures to ensure that the strategic security strategy implementation is completed,finally realizes the effective implementation of strategic development plan.Based on the theory combining with practice,by an example of the SEITZ Company as the research object,who is provide reference and reference significance for small and medium-sized enterprises with foreign investment,especially the molds manufacturing enterprises to on establishing strategic development research.
