Study On Waterfront Landscape Design Of Canal Culture

The development of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in China has experienced the rise and fall of thousands of years,which has witnessed the history and humanity of every period.Its coastal cities have also bred a unique canal culture folk customs.Af-ter the reform and opening up,due to the rise and rapid development of industrial citi-es,the ancient canal was neglected and neglected for a short time.In 2014,it ushered in a new stage of its recovery and development.Jining is one of the major cities along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.The development of Jining’s economy,culture and folk customs is closely related to the canal and is an important part of the construction of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal culture and tourism economic belt.Therefore,the theme of this study is the combination of waterfront landscape design and canal culture to create landscape passage and green space with regional cultural characteristics.The paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and content.There are also domestic and foreign research review and rese-arch methods,and finally sorted out the research framework.The second chapter is the research on the relevant theories and theoretical construct-ion of the research topic.Firstly,the history and culture of the canal and the design elements of the canal waterfront landscape are studied.Secondly,the paper discusses the application and expression methods of canal cultural elements in waterfront landscap-e design based on relevant design cases at home and abroad.Chapter three is the study of the history,current situation,existing problems and fut-ure development value of the research site.First of all,the understanding and analysis of the general situation of canal culture development and economy and folk custom in Jining area.Secondly,the general situation of jining’s environment,namely,the dem-and of citizens,was investigated and summarized.Then the problems existing in the site and surrounding environment are sorted out and summarized,and the landscape improvement direction and development value of the site environment in the next step are proposed.The fourth chapter is the specific design and implementation of the study.The proje-ct has carried on the complete elaboration from the site general situation,the design conception,the node design and the final effect.The last chapter summarizes the whole paper and the work done in the process of writing the paper,and puts forward the prospect of the future according to the research results.
