Study On Waterfront Landscape Renewal Design Of Shipping Heritage In Jining Section Of Beijing-Hangzhou Canal

The successful application of the canal on June 22,2014,and the “Building of the Chinese Grand Canal Cultural Belt” proposed by the 2nd China Grand Canal International Forum on December 2,2017,re-emphasizing the river channel and coastal culture of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.The protection of heritage becomes even more important.Jining is an important canal city.The construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt will bring new opportunities and challenges to Jining’s urban development.The long shipping history of the Grand Canal has left valuable shipping heritage on both sides of the canal.Among them,there are 9 World Heritage Sites in the Jining section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and 3 sections of the World Heritage River.How to protect the historical water system and the coastal shipping heritage in the context of the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt,so that the heritage sites and heritage river sections can be regenerated,integrated into the canal waterfront landscape design,and then inherit the historical context and show the canal culture.research focus.The paper analyzes and studies from four dimensions: First,through the overview of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and shipping heritage and analysis of its value;Second,combing the historical evolution of the Jining section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,grasping its history from a historical perspective develop the context,analyze the current development situation of the Jining section,and explore the significance of the development of Jining;Third,conduct field research on domestic related cases such as the waterfront landscape reconstruction of Suzhou Creek in Shanghai and the landscape reconstruction of the Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.Then,the current situation of theJining section is analyzed and compared with the current situation to find out the problems and gaps in the Jining section.Fourthly,the analysis and successful experience of the foreign heritage canal protection development case are summarized,and the current situation of the Jining section is analyzed from multiple angles.Find out the regeneration design method of the Jining section heritage site and the heritage river section,and integrate it into the design of the waterfront landscape.Finally,the paper summarizes the feasibility of integrating the heritage sites and heritage river sections in the Jining section of the canal into the waterfront landscape design,and also confirms the important value and significance of the shipping heritage protection in the construction of the Grand Canal cultural belt.At the same time,the idea of reclaiming the waterfront landscape of the shipping heritage in the Jining section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal can provide reference for other cities along the canal,and let people realize the importance of shipping heritage in the canal landscape,so as to better display the canal culture and accelerate the construction of the cultural belt of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
