| With the Convention takes effect,the competition between the companies of ship ballast water is becoming aggressively.It’s the challenge that grabbing market share with cost-effective products for manufacturers of ballast water equipment.Plenty of their spare parts are procured from outside in manufacturers of ballast water equipment even in shipbuilding industry.What they do is only assembling and debugging in their factories.They only too much on suppliers.Ship ballast water is an emerging industry,not yet mature,so quality issues occur frequently.Therefore it’s the key to boost competition capability that improving the quality management of suppliers for manufacturers of ballast water.In order to cope with main issues,this paper includes the following aspects:Research the relationship between Six Sigma theory and quality management of suppliers,to make sure the significance of mathematical statistics and quality management when Six Sigma theory is used in quality management.Aiming at the problems existing in the enterprise,determine the basic principles when Six Sigma theory is applied in quality management.In order to solve the main problems in suppliers’ quality management of company H,we analyze quality improvement when using the Six Sigma DMAIC management mode,choose the appropriate tools to set the improvement process in each phase.We have summarized the improving method of quality management based on Six Sigma which is suitable for suppliers after10 improving steps.The improved management method is applied in company H in order to verify the effectiveness of the management method.According to the management method of 10 steps,we improve the process of quality management of suppliers based on determinemeasure-analysis-improvements-control(DMAIC).We use the pareto law to choose samples of analysis,use the fishbone diagram to analyze the influence factors,use DOE orthogonal experiment to screen the key factors and the best solution,so the targeted improvements are finished.By recording and comparing the key data before and after improvement,the effectiveness of the management method is proved.At the same time,the management method is applied in the whole supply chain to provide a reference for the application of Six Sigma method in manufacturing factories. |
